"Please don't do this. Just let me go, please! I won't tell anyone if you just let me go!" She screams, struggling under the weight of his body as fear tears through her entire body.
"I thought I told you to shut up!" He snarls, striking the beautiful brunette across her angelically soft cheek; his jeans tightening in familiar places due to the soft whimper emanating from her freshly glossed lips, which are parted ever so slightly, beckoning him, teasing him. Her body shifts seductively under his as she watches him with wide, terrified eyes, the knife swaying back and forth as if caught in an evening breeze. It's in that very moment she realizes her fate. She realizes she's going to die.
"Please," she sobs, pleading in a last pitiful attempt to save her wasted life, which quickly flashes before her vibrant green eyes, the good, the bad, slowly it fades to black, slipping away to nothingness. She goes limp underneath him, no longer struggling, no longer sobbing, no longer breathing, no longer living. She's finally dead and now the real fun begins. Richard Wolcott shot up in his bed with a start, sweat stinging his dark eyes as it dripped from his forehead. A wave of panic washed over him as he looked around the unfamiliar room with blurred, tired vision. Upon rubbing his eyes and surveying the room once again he's reminded of where he lay; his room at the Waverly Hills Boarding School. Still, he didn't feel any more at ease, didn't feel any better. There was a different air over the school this year, not exciting or enticing like before. This year, there's a much more ominous air suffocating the school. Much different then its first successful year. The more time Mr. Wolcott spends at the school, the more frequent his dreams became, the harder it was to ignore his urges. They'll go away like they always do. He assured himself with confidence he didn't feel. No they won't. An unfamiliar voice taunted him. He couldn't be sure where it came from, but it unnerved him clear to his quick.
Imagine yourself choking. Not being able to get adequate air into your lungs because your throat is closing up due to something unseen, congesting and constricting the tissues like invisible hands. Your chest feels like it's ready to explode and your lungs feel like they're on fire. Finally able to cough, clumps of bright red blood spews from your mouth as the inner walls of your lungs disintegrate. The buzzing and dizziness you feel in your head is from the constant fever you keep and is made worse by the lack of oxygen reaching your brain. Capillaries burst in your eyes thanks to the violent coughing spells, leaving your eyes spotted with crimson splotches. Your skin turns a ghastly white because your body has given up the fight to produce enough red blood cells to keep the pigment of your skin...
This is the Hell countless numbers of patients of the Waverly Hills Sanitarium were forced to endure more than 107 years ago before the facility closed down in 1961. Even then the building's wrath continued when it became the Woodhaven Geriatrics Sanitarium. Much like before, patients suffered ruthlessly, though in much harsher ways. This time patients endured neglect from those dedicated to taking care of them and were living in conditions unfit for even the lowest form of life, until the state of Kentucky finally closed the building down for good.
Until now. The Waverly Hills Boarding School, America's newest and most prestigious school, is in its second year and is expected to have a student population double what it had in its infancy. Anybody who attended the school during its first year will easily notice the change in the school's atmosphere. It seems almost like the school doesn't want them there. Something is mysterious, foreboding, even un-welcoming about the phenomenon, but still students eagerly come to Kentucky to attend the school whose popularity is growing more and more. All of the so-called rumors about Waverly Hills are anything but, what was once one of America's most haunted places is slowly beginning to let its true nature shine through. The former inhabitants of the building are growing restless, they long to have their space back and will stop at nothing to get what they want. Last year they played nice but this year they plan to Shake It Up and claim what is rightfully theirs; they're taking things into their own hands now. They're beginning to send out invites to potential students whom unknowingly have deeper ties to Waverly Hills then ever anticipated, in hopes that it will stir up and cause the building's disturbing past of mystery and death to resurface. They say history repeats itself ... Well, we'll see about that.
