ORONO, Minn. (AP) - The Hennepin County Sheriff's Office is searching again this morning for a man missing from a boat on Lake Minnetonka.

A spokeswoman for the sheriff's office says the man and two friends were in their motorboat near Orono just before 3 a.m. Sunday. Several individuals who live in the area on Spring Park Bay called 911 to report they heard a person yelling for help in the water.

KSTP-TV reports that the area where the man went missing is about 100 yards offshore, and the water is about 18 to 24 feet deep.

A State Patrol helicopter searched the area earlier this morning. Dive teams are now in the water searching with sonar.
