Title: An Appearance!?

Ace - March 17, 2007 06:48 AM (GMT)
Yes, I've showed up again!

I'm sorry to all members for being such a poor admin, but in the teenage years of sick roller coaster emotions/life, things have just been plain icky.

Right now I'm focusing on school quite a bit. I believe I can be fully active within two weeks...which is about when our quarter ends...until then, I'm going to be in uberhyper-school mode. I have so much to get done, it's not even funny.

I hope you haven't all forgotten me. LOL.

Keys seems to be doing a lovely job. I'm checking in on you guys constantly, but I'm finding no time to post.

Keep up the lovely work, everyone. I'm just hoping that I can see you all more regularly very soon!

ladyhawke - March 17, 2007 04:52 PM (GMT)
Great to see you here Ace. School comes first and we will all be here waiting when you get back.

SporeFox - March 18, 2007 02:59 AM (GMT)
the summer brings niceness :D

Keys - March 18, 2007 04:31 AM (GMT)
Glad to know you at least think i'm doing a good job while you're away. As *other* people seem to think otherwise. <_< I'll discuss that with you later, to see where you stand.

Take you're time Ace, as others have mentioned, school comes first as does reality.

Bah, i know the feeling, Coursework is evil and partys/irl friends tend to be the more tempting for the tiny amounts of free time you end up with.
I reasently managed to kick a few deadlines out the way (just to get another lot thrown at me, although im currently denying there existence so i can laze around abit first :P)

Hope to see you back here though, i havent poked you directly in eons.

Ace - March 19, 2007 01:08 AM (GMT)
Well, I'm always checking on you guys, but it's mostly to skim the forums and check to see if I have any private messages. ;)

Hope all is well. I'll be back very soon, I hope!

Keys - March 19, 2007 03:24 AM (GMT)
Haha, well thank you Sporefox. I try!

We'll see you soon Ace, keep at it and get through it all! Before you know it, those long hard days... painful grind sessions behind a book/computer and endless grades will be over before you know it and then life hits you in the gut and its a whole new game!

travi - March 19, 2007 11:52 PM (GMT)
Forget school. Spore somes first.

ladyhawke - March 20, 2007 12:49 AM (GMT)
gotta disagree with you there Travi. Without School, you can't get a good job to be able to afford games like Spore.

travi - March 20, 2007 12:54 PM (GMT)
You can always steal them.

At this point, I'll take life. I'm finding school to be a long and boring drag where I'm taught nothing. I will never use almost ANY of this in the real world... <_<

Anyways, I'm trying to get on more, even if it's only a few posts. Still watching you guys. Please keep yourselves behaved for Keys. He's doing a fantastic job for going out on his own and whipping you all into shape. ;)

^Yeah, I wouldn't recommend stealing, Travi. ;) It tends to get people into trouble.

ladyhawke - March 21, 2007 12:33 AM (GMT)
You may say that now Ace, but just wait until you are out in the working world for a few years. Out on your own, having to pay your own way for everything and you will wish you were back in school.

And you never know just when that information that you don't think you need is going to come in really useful.

Oh, how right you are my friend! I really wish i could go back to living with my parents, not having to work and my only duty was taking out the trash, laundry, and dishes- Being 15-17 again.. Now its so much more. Work, paying bills, making sure those bills get in one time, obtaining groceries, making sure the car works, keeping your job, dating in what free time you have... and the list goes on! Oi oi Oi!

ladyhawke - March 21, 2007 10:31 AM (GMT)
Well, I don't have the dating part any more -- been married for over 19 years. But I do have the kids and their wants/needs/demands on time.

If nothing else, you need to remember what you were taught in school, just to help with homework -- that is if the work hasn't changed beyond recognition.

Just keep at it Ace, you'll be glad you did.

Ace - March 21, 2007 09:19 PM (GMT)
Oh, I know I'll need stuff in school...but sometimes people need to look back at what they were taught...and realize that a lot of it is just busy work. I'll never use some of the stuff they teach. I know English is good....and I love my other language class. But certain parts of math are useless...(the teacher even says so) and others classes like that.

SporeFox - March 23, 2007 01:27 PM (GMT)
i know half of the stuff they teach in my school, so it's kinda boring :P
