Not too many things....I really only have about three Maxis objects, a couple of custom houses, the energizing painting...that's about it.

I am like coffee. I have a bunch of stuff downloaded but only about half of it in the game. It takes a while to get it all extracted and moved into the proper folders. I like to keep my sets together by site so that I can remember where I got something, Thats the plan anyway.
Rein_Spark - April 20, 2005 10:05 PM (GMT)
I have a few clothing pieces and wallpaper/flooring. I also think I downloaded one or two houses and the Maxis objects....
The only reason I have a lot is because one day I went download crazy....I swear I was downloading for hours

LOL
That's funny, it sort of progressed like that. At first I was like "wow....am I ever bored. Hmm...what can I do to pass the time....."
Which turned into
"Wow look at all this neat wallpaper."
Then came
"Just one more page of downloads."
Then the finally, me turning off the computer at 3 in the morning.

I too have thousands and the only way to control myself was to stop visiting those sites too often. It is so hard to stop once you have started.

Hello everybody, I'm Rein and I'm a custom contentaholic also. I once spent a night doing nothing but downloading, that's when I realized I had a problem. :ph43r:
ladyhawke - April 22, 2005 11:08 PM (GMT)
Hi Rein, I am Ladyhawke and I too am a download-aholic. I have a huge folder in my temp folder for all the sets that I have downloaded and not yet installed. Its growing bigger and bigger and I don't seem to install as much. -- Must stop downloading and start installing all the wonderful objects into my game.
CoffeeFreak4Life - April 23, 2005 06:30 AM (GMT)
I feel your pain.and know how hard it is. I have a specific folder JUST for downloads of Sims 2 nature on my desktop. It's so hard to stop tho.
Ace - April 24, 2005 05:14 AM (GMT)
I'm Ace and I'm here to help.
Your first step is to (takes deep breath, knowing that an outburst is due in seconds) download LESS. You can do this by eliminating 10% of your daily/weekly downloads. If you download 100 things a week, try trimming it down to 90, no matter how hard it is.
We can help you with your problem.
(Feels like Dr. Phil)
