Well, one "surprise" is already done. Elite Members got custom ranks for month or until the next 1000 posts (when we hit 2000...which I will again award EMs a custom rank).

Other than that...well, who knows what I have brewing... :P

Since I just became an elite member, I will look forward to my custom rank when we reach 2000 posts. Great idea by the way.

What do think is great, Ladyhawke? Are you talking about the Elite Member thing or giving Elite Members their own custom rank?

Giving elite members a custom rank -- Will it be for always or just a month??? Its a very special thing to do for members who keep coming back and posting quality posts.

Yeah Ladyhawke is right, that is a good idea. Quite often a forum will be doing pretty good but then eventually the posting will slowly stop. This will encourage members to post....and plus with new news of spore there will always be something to talk about which should help with members posting too.

It's a temporary thing, Ladyhawke. All members lose their custom rank after a month. This ensures that they'll continue posting if they want their rank back. ;)
