Title: Fees possibly?

I was wondering the other day if this game is going to be a fee'd game (like World of Warcraft) because of the peer-to-peer sharing.

No, Will Wright specifically stated that Spore will be a one-time only purchase fee game. After you buy the game, thats all you'll have to spend.

Yeah, there was an interview on IGN or somewhere if i remember correctly. But i do remember that being on of the quests. Will Wright said that wasn't usually the nature of his games (aside from Sims Online) and that he thought that was unfair. He said that in addition to this. They have shrunk creature/building/planet/weapons/UFO/etc files down to such a miniscule size that it wouldn't take that much server usage to distribute incoming information.
