i was just wondering how the member ratings work...
you know the little green blocks with a title under them.
also how do you get to be an elete member? ;)

You are automatically promoted to an Elite member once you reach 50 posts. With this new ranking you are given access to the Elite board here on the Spore forums. its nothing extremely special, just a small section where Elite members go to chit-chat and talk about whatever they fancy.
As you make more posts the number of green bars will increase and your title rank will change.

Yeps. Not only that (because truthfully, the Elite Members board isn't that exciting to tell you the truth), but you have less flood control, and of course the big one for me is the ability to post your website link here (we use the Elite Members as a net for people who come here just to post their link). I think there are a few little other quirks that you get, but I can't remember.
But yes, your rank will go up with posts. Go into the Members subforum (under Chat) and you'll find the ranks updated as far as other members have reached. Check 'em out.

10 posts= one block. 50 posts= 2 blocks... and three is somewhere between 200 and 100.... an 500 posts=4 blocks...and i think 1000 posts will get you to 5 blocks...either that or you have to have more than Ace has... :P

Heehee, the rank going up is the best perk if you ask me :P
