I was curious about what will happen to this site after Spore comes out.

Will it be:

A- Kept as is

B- Changed (new topics like "Creature Design," etc.)

C- Abandoned :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :(


I'm really enjoying my time spent on this site, discussing stuff away from the rampages of forum monkies and trolls (no offense SporeFan ;) )




We should advertise-put a link to this site on your sigs on other forums, mention it to friends, etc.

It will probably stay as is perhaps with few more topic areas. it most DEFINATELY will not be abbandoned though

Yes, Spore Forums will stay when the game comes out, don't you worry. We'll have some changes, naturally, but nothing big.

I think we'll have a "showcase" so that all of you fanatics can show off your CC or your galaxies. Maybe even a place to put stories (though that could be combined with Showcase)...

i'd like a section for people to post funny stories of what happened to their creatures, screenshots, biographies and such for everything they've worked out. Perhaps fanfics and such of other peoples' creatures.

Yes, we'll have a Technical Issues board. Stuff like that...and perhaps a few twists and surprises. You never know.

You know what would be cool? Creature competitions (I'm totally stealing this from WoTC) where we post pics of our creatures, and then we vote to see which is cooler.

I'm looking forward to this game coming out...this site would never be abandoned, if anything it will just grow in activity.

We could have lots of contests in the contest board. :P

I'm thinking when spore really gets popular the site's population will grow as its release comes closer and closer. But once the game is out people won't need a reason to get their daily Spore fix or a place to find all the latest information. Alot of members will disapear though some of us like those here now (or atleast a some few) will stay for a good long while. I know i'll stay. It'll probably change some to contests like above and whatnot. No doubt players will want to show off.

what about Oblivion? Surely doing an all-nighter in oblivion will be just as enticing as a Morrowind spree? or better considering the graphics and newer technology? :P

I bought Oblivion a few days after it came out, so I had no idea how powerful the graphics are. It won't run on my desktop, but it will run on my notebook (albeit very slowly). I've heard that it's not as much fun as Morrowind (in other words, boring main story). For example, my main in morrowind I've played for about 30 hours, and I just got infected with corpus. That's not very far into the storyline, either!

(Of course, most of those 30 hours I was horribly, horribly lost because I turned the map off and couldn't figure out how to turn it back on) <_<


I hate the Dark Brotherhood. The last time I made a new character (full on high elf mage, with stunted magicka and all that) he was killed by an assassin 3 times!. GAAAAAH!

^Morrowind and Oblivion seem like amazing game...I've been meaning to pick up Obvlivion, but it's too expensive for me right now since I'm currently in the process of saving money.

ya thats one of the things i dont like about it it has a short main quest line. but there is so much more to do in it!
