Okay, so I finally removed the "Happy Sporemas" skin and decided to look for a new skin. Found one that I REALLY liked when I saw it.

This is sort of it, except that I'll need to tweak it so that some of the buttons look more like the actual skin. Though don't worry, I plan to keep 99% of our green ones (unless you guys want those to go).

So...feedback on the change?

I like the new banner at the top. It looks like the intro at the official spore site. Also, has the text color and background color in the make a post box been changed? It looks nice now, and I approve of the dark theme.

All in all, the new skin looks pretty spiffy.

However, I have one complaint: the text in the topic descriction is hard to read (the text doesn't contrast against the background as much as it used to)

Also, the "Edited by. . ." line is hard to read.

The banner is an old one...but yes, it is very nice.

As for a few of those things...I'll try and change them, but they're (fortunately) very minor.

LOL...yeah...it's nearly the same - but notice - not as much white (eh...can't explain it well).

i noticed, and i like, though it was a bit of a ajustment.

I'll be sure to at the very least find the URL...though it should have been in the code (I copied it onto my HD)...which it doesn't seem to be. <_<

All that matters is that I like the new style.

That's good. It's a bit sad that the green can't be used, but it had a few too many flaws. So I think this'll work just fine.

Mebe, when the game comes out, we could have a contest where everybody posts(well, everybody doesn't have to...) a screen shot of their favorite creature that they made, and everybody who wants to vote could vote on their favorite one, and the top three or five could be on the banner.....

or a sort of art contest for a collage(sp) of screenshots?

Not a bad idea, but of course. This is Ace's area.

That could be done. They would obviously have to be top-notch pics, so maybe have a poll or something and then I would look at the top results and make sure they worked, then use Paint Shop Pro to make a collage of them.

I'll be open to that. But we have a while before we need to start worrying.
