I'm curious to know what everyone’s first creature will eat to survive.

From all my friends who are going to play they all want to make carnivores and I fear that might be the common consensus. :(

nothing against carnivores but I hope there are a few herbivores and omnivores out there :)

Lol. At time of post, only four people have voted, and it's 50/50 for Carnivore/Omnivore.

Personally, I'd go omnivore, incase one food supply died out so that my creature wouldn't starve to death with lots of tasty vegatables nearby. But a pure carnivore would be cool. . . covered with mouths and spikes and arms and pincers and grabbers.

I'm very into the environment, so I went with herbivore. Omnivore would be...okay I guess.

We've all seen how Willosaurus killed the cute animal and ate it.How does a creature eat plants?if it's a herbivore?Do you just klick on the grass and it would start chewing the grass?

I dont really know what id make as my first creature.

Filter feeder though? haha, i can see it now. Your creature is a giant sized raptor-like creature that feeds from ponds by inhaleing water and filtering the micro organisms before dispelling the excess water.


But seriously. I don't really know... they all have their ups and downs.

However we know what a carnivore does. Rag-doll physics take effect and you bash the creature to a pulp before dragging it off and chomping on its limp body.


But what about plant eaters? Do you just get a skimpy *chomp* *chomp* animation and the plant is unaffected swaying in the digital breeze?


To me it really depends on the visual effects of the game.


I could care less whether my creature ate other creatures or plants. So long as the animation and physics looks pretty!


That is.. UNTIL i start letting my imagination run and i make specific creatures.

when you eat, in a game like this, i think chunks will get ripped off and then chewed up.

They won't do that, Will is probably going for the Teen rating the game already has from its realistic (kinda) graphics.

HAHAHA!!! I'm gona make my first one a herbivore, like myself. It's gona be an extremely muscled turtle-type creature wit hmassive bulging eyes, if it's possible I'll ad a french style mustache, he's gona have huge teeth and massive claws and a regular turtle-tail. Fear...the Philbosaurus!!! Anyway, some guy in my class started calling me philbosaurus even though we're obth 13 and it's a little imature, but we needed a break, so we even drew him up during English, we were wokring on plat outlines that day(BORING). Anyway, back on topic, anyone see some letuce on sale? Philbo here is starved!
