I noticed this article on Slashdot and BoingBoing and thought you would be interested in it. Apprently games like Spore are the future of gaming (but any of us here could have told them that!)

an interesting read.
Ive got my heart set on this game coming out for sure anyways. Alot of people know about it and are anxiously awaiting its arrival. Everyone i talk to at work and friends are so excited. Maxis and EA would be making a corporate mistake if they decided to trash the project. Plus no one (not just the fans but those gaming article companies like Gamespy and IGN who go to great lengths to get interviews and information) has heard of it being trashed. So i think its still in the works :)

This game has everyone excited. It will change the way games are played. It looks so fun I'm dying for more information.
