I've officially changed the look of Spore Forums for the Christmas (aka "Sporemas" as Coffee so cleverly nicknamed it) season. During this time, you'll have:

-Flashing banner up top with two excellent designs from Coffee and Buce.
-Total new look - black and white instead of green and black.
-New icons - "new posts" and "no new posts" are represented gold/silver bells.

I hope you all enjoy this temorary look. I personally love it and hope you all do as well.

well you know christmas and school work and all that stuff
for awhile i did forget about spore but no true obsession is left unforgotten....

yep. I had let up on my idea of spore (having found out about it early december) but just as soon as the holidays were over the obsession came back and i feel like i did when i first found out about the game!

I'm just glad Oblivion is coming out soon so i will have something to occupy myself with for a few months.

I hope it won't steal from your Spore Forum time. :P

hah, no way. Its not like ill completely forget about spore. Its just something to ease my twitching nerve (that nerve that whispers to play spore :blink: or is that just me... :P ) it wont entertain me until fall im sure, but itll atleast get me to July or so.... hopefully.

I know this is a little late but.. that is a nice X-mas scheme.

UPDATE:

Well, within a week or two, I'll be tearing down the Happy Sporemas theme and probably going back to good ol' fashioned Spore Forums...but worry not...there will be some surprises (if subtle in the least). Also, we're only two months away from the SPORE FORUMS: ONE YEAR...

I'll be sure to spice the looks up a bit soon enough.

I'll do something for the One Year thing, but it's not going to be an extravaganza. I'll probably post a Year in Review, a member-voted awards thing, etc, etc.

But I'm trying to get more attention on this website...perhaps if people see that it has an active admin, they'll join and start participating, putting more pressure on Maxis to release info.

I'll be looking forward to whatever you're going to do. =)
