I'd love to see us get to 5000 posts very soon! I'm hoping sometime in January or February.

but it would be funny if ppl moved to spore forums beacuse of it

i wonder if they are attempting to make a point? cant exactly pushish someone for being loyal to a site by posting it can ya.

wel yeah it can y? beacuse of posting you have begun investing your life in others. you have begun developing relationships with the ppl from the forum.

Heat took a rather wrong stance on some of our quotes though, twisting them out of proportion. For instance, I said: "Let's beat Snooty." He used that as one of our 'bad' quotes. But it actually wasn't a bad quote. What's wrong with trying to outpost another site? Only friendly competition, right?

I'm no so sure I'd be able to manage a 4000 member forum. I'd definetly need some mods.

We dont WANT a 4000 member forum . Thats how you get anoying evil pricks not people. Less is more in a forum like this

a good forum has about 10 to 20 active members
so 4,000 wouldjust make it confuseing andmake the forum realy laggy

Trust me - if we had 4000 members, only about 100 would be active.

Yeah, in large forums, not all the members even post, people are always coming and going.

Ace, you shouldn't be afraid to hire mods, especially after the game comes out. They can be quite helpful if you choose wisely.

I'm certainly not afraid to hire mods. But I would like to wait to hire them - right now they are unnecessary - we have few members and the ones that are active are good people. Once the game comes out, I expect more people joining - which could mean one to three mods being hired.

Good, good, you seem to be on top of things. That sounds like a great plan.

Geez, you've all been productive. I vow to try not and abandon a single forum and remain with the ones I'm members with. I hope that lasts :P
