dont take this the wrong way but whats the purpose of this post?
cant we just look at the top 10 posters from the index?

The purpose is similar to why they do it at Sims2Talk (I remember putting up the first ever "Top Ten" post at Sims2Talk 1), MizSims2GoGo, Pink Imoen, etc. put them up - for reference, since many don't often look at the Top Posters list; a way to recognize those who post at the site; for reference in times to come - to see who WAS a top poster. ;)

oh i see im sorry for the earlier post cause right now thats the post count but it will continue to grow later on.....

Darn, I got a lot of posting to do to catch up.

Well, Coffee, I'm numer eins at the moment - and I'm not bragging, trust me, because I know someone will catch up eventually - but currently to get to the top, the closest runner-up, tdlob, would have to get more than 300 posts quicker than I could post.

Communities take a while to build up, obviously. We won't, until we get adequate information, have very many active members.

or at least until it hits the air on 4 or something beacuse thisgame is still kinda secret even though its getting alot of attention it hasent gotten any air time were it needs it most......... well maybe not yet but wants it hits the G4 air waves members will be rolling in........

They are used sort of as another way to express what you're saying or to complement (add to) what you're saying. It's not an insult, a hidden joke, or anything along those lines - it's simply a smiley.
