I thought I'd make an easy topic, considering it's the first post. Just tell what your favorite thing about the Sims 2 is.

Mine is genetics and generations. I love how children now look like their parents and how the generations change slowly to different things (like two generations down in my Legacy Challenge my sims still have some of the same traits and such but the facial structions is now much skinnier and angular).

yea genetics are fun but aspiration play is quite fun as well. Sometimes i dont even KNOW im filling one.but my favorate is the stories i create

Yeah, I like stories too. That's why the Legacy Challenge is so much fun.

I supose but the rules turn me off about the challenge their a little too strict.

Well, it's really only that you can't use cheats. It's a fun way to get away from the norm of sims.

I like the whole thing..it's hard to pick something out.

i also love the genetics and of course the different life stages we get now, gone are the days of adults always being adults and kids always being kids, thats what used to annoy me about sims 1.
i also love the camera mode, i never thought i would but i have to say its now one of my favourite things.
and how can i not mention build mode, its just wicked i love building bizarre multi level houses with bridges and basements, the whole package just rocks :lol:

I've never really understood where camera mode was...I must have already used it, but I don't really know WHERE it is.... <_<

its where you press Tab on your keyboard and the whole screen is your sims, (it removes the aspiration and needs bars and all that stuff), then you can move around the home and get some really cool angles for pictures, like we do in our legacys ace.

here's an example of cool angles. its a bit of a spoiler if your reading my miz sims legacy because its a couple of up and coming pictures lol :D

Hmm...thanks for the info...I never actually knew that! I've always used the typical ol' camera. :blink:

My favorite thing is the aging thing, it really is a major improvement from the first one, and you really, really miss it if you play the first one again...

Yeah...that's why I haven't played Sims 1 since!

Good point Ace... but a friend of mine got the first game and I was teaching her how to play, no way around it really...

I can't believe how pointless the kids in the original game were. They stay kids forever....I mean come on! And it's pretty neat that the sims of the same family will look alike.

Yeah...kids just had to study FOREVER! And when you had a kid, it was just random...so strange...the only thing the "same" was skin color!

I remember I had my favourite family. Before I knew about the money cheat I would make someone move in with them then kill them. I also had 2 kids in that house that I used to keep the house clean. I didn't want to pay for a maid :lol:

I like the whole aspect of life changes and the build mode I spend a lot of time building.

Hypnotizes both Coffee and Rein and tells them that they should worship me instead because I'm the Spore God and King of the MizSims2GoGo land (along with Queen DD!).

And yes, Ladyhawke, perhaps we should make rules just for Coffee. :P

Excuses, excuses. You don't THINK I hypnotized you. (Snaps fingers!) Now you're undone from the spell. Don't worry, I didn't do anything with you. While I can hypnotize you, controlling you is a totally different thing. I think it's all the caffeine from the coffee. It screws up my penetrating brainwaves. :P

Yep the cafine negates any ability to hypnotize cause i cant concentrate long enough for it to take effect and of course im too sophitcated for it
