How much different is the Sims 2 as compared to the original sims? I've played that before and I just wanted to know.

Gameplay is very similar. I suppose the most that has changed is graphic quality, objects, tools etc. The aim is still the same its just been upgraded to a shiny new model!

hey its not all the same you forgot about the asperation bar that was added the asperation items job items and from the new expansion the life long goal.

The best part, is that the sims age. Kids grow up! I hated that they didn't in the first game... also it is more real...

naah not all the time especially for novice players taking care of babys is a HUGE PAIN!

Oh yeah! I've guess I've got so used to playing Sims 2 The Sims is now just a blur! My favourite bit was the pets, I hope they come back for Sims 2.

yes pets, pets are probabley the best thing that happened
to the sims and possiabley the sims2.

I never bought any of the expansions, even though there were about like twenty of them :P

If I were, tho, I think I would have gone with the pets upgrade ;)

So are the items that you can buy for the sims a whole bunch the same then? Is the only difference is the quality of graphics?

well not completley ture the graphics may be extensivley better
but there is a larger amount of items yes there are a few from the sims
but alot of the sutff is different especially with the abilltey to change the
color ofcertain items.

Yeah I wish I had the pets, that was the coolest thing the new one doesn't have.

Also the neighborhood was soooo small if you didn't have Unleased, I'll never play Sims 1 without that ep because of it. It is so my fav ep, my second being Superstar (because it is like you get to go to work).
