Specifically i want my fellow Buddhist Keys to read this but anyone is open to comment

Ok so here it goes I think i had a Out of Body Experience or something of the sort it was about evening the sun was just setting, So i decided to clear my mind a little and just meditate. While i was in the process i went into a deeper state of meditation than i have ever gone before. I had lost touch with everything around me. For awhile i don't know what went on i have memory of bits of color from the period, sorta like a drug trip. Heres were it gets really weird for me, It was almost like wakeing up and when i opened my eyes my body was sitting where i had sat on the floor exact position and everything. Being the curious person I am i walked over and tried to touch my body, only to feel what felt like being slammed back into my body. I have no clue what happened, the only thing i could think of beside a Out of Body Experience is some kind of Lucid Dream state I did not know about before. Any suggestions? And Keys have you ever experienced anything like this during Meditation?

I can't say that I have had that sort of experience. Although, my intention during meditation is to clear the mind and release any stress and discomfort I may have picked up along the past days/weeks. But in the same, I haven't tried meditation for a little while now. Have been too busy.
As for what it was, It could have been any one of those. A Lucid Dream you experienced after unknowingly falling into a light dream, and the "Snapping back" into your body the equivalent of "pinching" yourself awake. OR! The fabled Out of body experience that so many reach for but few seem to obtain (at least those who talk about it.)
Either way, a very neat experience that everyone should be able to go through. Gives you a sort of different outlook on it all, no?

Well right now i'm looking into it and it seems that i happened across a OBE i guess. I'm still very VERY skeptical to this but i'm going to test it with a experiment i have in mind, When i try to do this again I'm going to leave cards on my glass table ones that i don't already know of course and well you get the point but i still highly dought its anything but a mistaken lucid. If i did it once i must of flicked a switch or something sooo it might be easier next time? I dunno but again looking into and experimenting with it

Lol, you never know! It's worth a shot! You'll have to let us in on how it goes. Kinda curious. But hey! Again, you never know.. next thing you know you could be throwing inanimate objects across the room or combusting. Life's funny that way! So take what it gives you and run! :lol:

Bah my progress is slow with this, I've managed to hit the state of color once or twice i still have no clue what thats about but no more success as of now still trying though ;)

My advice is not to try to hard. Try and you'll miss. Wait and it'll come to you.
