alright guys, I don't know when I'm going to be able to get back on full time like before where I checked the site daily. ill be able to get on once a week maybe now.
however my power supply failed the other day. actually the fans failed on it and so after 10-20 min or 3 with internet/programs the power supply overheats resulting in a melting plastic smell. unfortunately I don't have the cash to replace the power supply at the moment. I've got 60 to spare but for a 600+watt supply its about 80.00USD+ here... so I'm kinda screwed.
so... behave! ill be back soon.

You must have a hell of a PC, keys! Good luck getting a new PSU.

Alright-
So here's the update...
No computer yet. My internet access is limited to finding a wireless connection around town on a laptop i jacked from the Flintstones (169mb of ram, 697Mhz, and a 5Gb HD) and friends computers/laptops... But! Soon.. soon i'll have a computer. I'm waiting on the next paycheck or so (a few weeks now as it's a monthly pay.) to which i'll be donating almost exclusively (with the exception of bills) to a new computer. Been shopping Newegg a bit and looks like...
4gb of DDR3 Kingston Ram (new stuff. Better than the buggy DDR3 we've seen recently.)
2x EVGA nVidia GeForce 8800GT 's (SLI)
2x Seagate 500Gb 10k RPM
Intel Core 2 Quad 2.4Ghz Quad-Core Processor
EVGA Nvidia nForce 790i Ultra SLI DDR3 ATX Intel Motherboard
Water cooling
I'll be salvaging what I can from the old computer (msc wires, fans, Optical drives, and accessories. IE Mouse/Keyboard, yadda yadda.)
Looked around- That kind of system, where you could find one would cost me around 8k or more...
Newegg and some time building it....

Plus 300 for vista.. /rolleyes
Which'll mean one hard drive and one 8800 will have to wait until next month..

So that's the update.
My only regret is i wont have the PC by the 20th. Age of Conan will have to sit patiently on my empty desk until then.

If beta wasn't over.... tomorrow I'd give you my Fileplanet beta access which I can't use anyways. Ah well- Takes two days to download the game and patch anyways :( HUGE game.
I will! I finally managed to get long-term access on the crap-o-top (laptop im using) so I'll be patrolling as usual now. Yay!
