Longer story short.
We are no longer using the name 'Runescape' in our name, we are in what so ever no affiliation with them. We will allow runescape although we are not going to support them unless they support us.

Our purpose here in RSM is ART. We are artists, we do not have a label, we are NOT runescape media artists. We are ARTISTS.

We will still use invisionfreeforums but with a shorter name that will get you there faster so you will not have to type in "z10.iinvisionfree.com/<name here>" -- UNLESS WE BUY A PAID FORUM; KEEP READING THIS POST!!! (Below).

We are in need of helpers, if you have fresh ideas let them be known, I will choose my own little team of people (will be known on this post) made a small rank for them for approx a week and have their own board discussing mature, wide range broad ideas!

It is time to shine and banish runescape as our label! It is a downgrade and completely fucking us over! Let that be fact.

Unless someone can provide us a free website hosting look-alike of Invisionfree, I remember once someone gave me one but I have lost it. If you have it PUT IT HERE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!!!

Our next forums will have very little runescape and we will be making small adds and all donations will be asked so we can take off unwanted google adds that slow us down!

Sounds like a decent Idea. I'd be willing to contribute to a new banner, and I've never been good with names :( Sorry, i'll try think of some ideas for the new forums. The test board looks alright :P I think it would maybe be a good idea to get some of the users a chance to make the icons and buttons and all that? Just an Idea I had :P

Well it would help if ya made a list of wht sorta help u need and jobs people can do.

I need an idea for:

The forum name, I need banners (different seasons) I need all buttons (all of them) inverted. keeping smilies umm.. what else, you think as well lol of what you can contribute.

and IPBFREE isn't completely free, don't forget the ads that we want to take out. I don't want any .TK short names I hate .tk and I already got also a short url redirector.

no the IPBFree forums they are much more complicated to skin then invisionfree and IPBfree is free as long as you can deal with the one ad

Yes I know that because I have used them before, skinning should be the last of our worries, I'm sure we'll code something in the long run.

im down with it =) just that the skin of that site looks a bit dodgy ... however as you said that will be changed with ease, so as for the name,., =S idunno if we want to concentrate more on the arts then i guess we should look at what other sites have done, deviantart, pixeljoint, the way of the pixel. But we would need something that could represent everything, i dunno arts united or something :hmm:

Well, I'll just edit this post as I come up with new ones. Just though up Graphics Society, or something along those lines, mostly because the name sounds like the sort of group experienced and not so experienced people would go to because it sounds sort of official and important, but I'll be thinking :P

Graphics Society isn't bad so far.

We really need a different name. However instead of changing all our sigs, we just need to replace the "RS"

Visual GFX doesn't sound too cliche.

I wish we could take GFX community but Triza already took it with some other sorry ass e-thugs and shut it down cause they couldn't run it.

so ask permission to re-open it but we have a little while for now I say we make one sig that everyone uses we all use it in every sig and forum we get the best artists here in each subject: cartoon pixel and GFX and they all make a sig we vote on it and we all use it and for the name anything with GFX in it doesnt sound good cause then it is just saying GFX art we need a name with media art or something to that effect I think Artists Community sounds good
As for the Banner I think we should keep the same banner just change the words in it and we get one for each season to keep it lookin good maybe change the ones up a bit too like change it every year so it keeps it interesting as for the buttons we keep this skin and everything cuz the skins and buttons all have nothing at all to do with runescape but if we go with IPBFree forums we will use more than one skin so we would need another skin and buttons to match but usually that isn't hard

Umm.. Ill have to see about getting skins on IPBFREE, in IPB it's a lot easier but keep the ideas running.

I personally hate IPBFree, i've always worked with invisionfree just because it's better

If your going to do anything, get us a new URL to THESE forums, take out the ads and maybe get a new skin, because we've had this one forever, but thats just my opinion O.o

EDIT: I just read the post above mine, and yes I agree, if we use the IPB Boards that aren't free, those are good, like Runescape Community, their forums are the best, and they have a skin selector

Yeah you guys want IPB boards, awesome but none of you care to donate for the $150 license or for the $10.00 monthly server, just maybe I want one also? ...maybe.

Like the name artists community? and I asure you I can skin the board for you if you pick out invisionfree skins I can adjust them so they work on IPBFree just give me the skins and acp access for like a day

The name should be something laid back and funky, something nice and wild, nothing too professional.
