On being our newest moderators! They were hand picked out of the many who applied.
38 Applied, 3 made it, 2 almost made it.
Aside from the 3 who made it, the other lacked a few things such as

• Maturity
• Grammar
• Common Sense
• Experience

Many of you asked "ya lyk i wann b mod cuz i do gud in pixel stuf dude"... Not gonna happen I just "lol" and delete your application. Some of you came quite close to being chosen though, keep it up and maybe you will be in the long run :]

Out of the '85,007' posts we had '37255' were deleted, mainly for being old and used, that way the site is running faster then it once was! The search engine should also be working better.
Ps.: The spam forums does not raise your post count anymore too bad you missed the 1 week of opportunity.

I have combined over 1338 topics together in the old tutorials section to shorten our board size and not to mention make your search a bit faster, a lot of stuff will be put together on tutorials section that will be of interest with those who are interested.

PSoTW will be having its own "winner banner" like our old school days, it is not perfected ready yet, but it had been regathered, so stay tuned for it.

CASH PRIZE will be handed to those who win GFX Competitions, these boards will be back up starting as of now! Reward will be cash along with its own banner(plate of winner).

A little information for your knowledge. You think I work hard to keep these forums alive alone mostly alone/solo???

I have spent exactly 93 hours on these forums this week! (Total of 6 days).
A little appreciation of you guys going to other forums and wearing our signatures and advertising us with a nice post in whatever section doesn't hurt.

in responce to dgns' comment about me, ive been a long running active member here, im helpful, i keep my spelling and grammer as good as it practicly posable, and im responsable.

the 4 forums ive been placed a mod over are all art based forums, purely set aside for the creation, critique and development of various forms of art. all of these art forms ive had alot of experiance in and thus am able to help people with problems they may have in a posative and useful way.

and after all its pages choice what happens, he is definatly a responcable member of the comunity and its his choice this happens, are you saying he made a mistake?

futhermore, axe hasnt been here as long as some people, but hes a responsable, active member and one that people are posative about, and he is a super mod, and thus has control over the entire board, thats several more section than i have control over.

not meaning to get on a bad foot with anyone, just wanting to state my opinion.

Congrats on your -1 rating. Nice job on calling me biased, curious as to why you read announcements if you juts act this way. And yes true you fall in the category to lack "Maturity" learn and don't be rude to people. I give all a chance to whom deserve, I spotted a whole week of who deserves this rank. As for PJB, he was just informing you his opinion, don't go out on it.

Page, I would just like to say thank you for all you have done for this amazing forum. You have been keeping RSM alive, alone, for a very long time now.

You saying you spent 93 hours helping this site in a total of 6 days is amazing. I did the math, and there is a 144 hours in 6 days, so 144 -93 is 51. So you had 51 hours for sleep and free time in 6 days. So on average you had 8.5 hours for free time and sleep thats insane!!! You spent 65% of your time on these boards!!

Also I just have one question, will there ever be any new admins? I mean everyone but you has pretty much left. So, i know there is always a feeling of let down, but will there ever be any new admins? This in no way was a put down towards you, I just think you should be able to have more free time, I mean who doesn't like to do their own things...

Tenn completely understand what you mean on Admins thing, and yes I believe so man, consider this current annoucnement you are on a "baby step" I am looking for Mods at the moment, I am still looking for about 4-5 more Admins.

My current plan is to get at least 1 permanent admin on each section (apart from private). I am looking for about 4-5 other Admins as we speak that I can truly rely on and trust. I mainly look forward to Old School and New School actives they are always dependent. I look for mainly two things "Activity and Maturity" and on the side I require and demand, correct spelling and grammar lol.


After that consider me chopping down on so many admins and then looking for Super Moderators so I can give our current ones time for vacation and retirement time at least for a bit until they feel like coming back. I want a Mod on at all time zones, which is my plan. I will be making new sections and deleting so many more posts and topics, to make newer updated ones. Making the best for the members. Next step. ADVERTISEMENT! We are too hott to only be a "Runescape" website, hopefully we'll drop that a bit and consider this a true Pixel and GFX website and not just runescape.

So yes in the long run I will be promoting, Semi-Admins , so I can take some weight off my shoulders, whoever I pick will be surely someone very dependent who knows the boards. If not gotta take him off. I'm not gonna sit back and let people think only people who play Runescape come here.

as for regards to what you mentioned in that post i was thinking only earlier today, why dont we re-name runescape media section to arts or something similar. and as you mentined there and has been mentioned elsewhere we shoudl branch away from just RS based, and far more general, thats what keeps alot of my friends away, they see the word runescape and instantly think of imature kids playing crappy games and its not the kind of image a respectable forum such as ourselves should have. one mayor balls up on that front is the forum name, runescape is very prominent part of it. that said if we change the name are we changing the foum? what we really need to do is have a discosion on what really makes RSM what it is, is it the runescape side? the art side? the small friendly comunity, or a mixture. determin what the most important things are, while also keeping the view of expanding our membership. posably another topic to discous this somewhere? that will help to give a clear indication of where to go, because at the moment it seams many ideas are flying around and we are, inpracticly, trying to act on them all. like the drop party, is that thwe message we want to give out? we put alot of effort into, especialy axe, and once it had happened we heard nothing about it, and our membership hardly increased. i dont want to go horbily off topic, but i feel that this is something vitaly important and has to be said.

You shouldn't complain about not being a mod :hap: Just do your best to be mature in the future ;) I really think that we need to get rid of the "Runescape" in our name. I think RS limits your creativity and that we should change our name.

RS also does tend to attract a lot of immature people :Oo:

Okay I get it now, and that is a great idea. A mod in all time zones would be the best thing that could happen it would make sure everything was going smooth, and it would really make RSM seem always active.
