This is my last official activity members post I will be making about this.

Lately people keep PM'ing me complaining its been inactive, for those of you who didn't or can't read I am an admin.

My job is to keep the site up, running secure, keeping everyone safe, and everything in order to function normal as we want!
My job isn't to keep PM'ing people on MSN or else where to get active.

RSM is a community.

The members make this community grow, not admins, don't and STOP expecting me and a handful of people to make this place grow enormous, its your job (if) to make this place grow.

(Stupidity) How? - Get your friends to register and be active, advert us everywhere (aside from RSC).
Use our sigs, avatars and banners! Tell people about us on MSN and give specific details about us.

Hard to break it to you like this... RSM will remain this inactive unless the members themselves start helping to get it active. Just because I'm not giving you that boost doesn't mean you can't walk by yourself, post, make it active, start your own comps (stop being afraid!).

Side note; School has started many people are inactive, many are NOT. We have many members and many are from GMT+1 - GMT+5 they will be on, and many EST+CTL+MT Timezones. Get with the program.

Place has been up for so long, tis a damn shame to see how members react when you stop for 5 seconds to see what they do by themselves.

i totaly agree with you on that, andims arnt here to make the site really popular, how are they ment to anyway? its not like they can pull members out of the air. theyre just here to do updates when needed and sort out any major issues that they have authority over, inactivity isnt one of them.

think of this way, admins are like the police, not like your parents when your a child. but thats how soem people seam to be acting (not many thankfuly) but childishly. myself included this place seams to have alot of talkers but not many do-ers. basicly we keep saying we need to do this and that, or whatever, but who has atualy done that? noone? hmmm... (with the exeption of axe and a few others) but leaving it to an elite few isnt how it should work, people, go out there, we arnt going to make many new members sitting around here talking about it! you may think, 'ive never aranged anything before how can i do it?' well, why dont you make this your first, if it goes really bad dont be put off it may be bad cercumstances, and if it goes well, great, now do it again =p

basicly do it yourself, dont turn to those who are doing alot already.

This RSM will, and im very sad to say it, probably be a lost cause. Unless we are extremely lucky and have a community of awesome people.

I'm gonna say it again, we need a domain.

i check everyday but if i see theres nothing to post on i just go to another forum (3 including this one im active in)

i know i check everyday i can, and respond to, what, half the topics that have had a new post, but theres hardly any of them, which sucks abit...

You're 100 percent right. And I'll set this challenge to myself, and anyone else who wishes to join me. I'll try and make atleast 1 thought out contribution to any thread each day, I have been known to browse, so I'll stop that habit. I'll also try get some people in :)

Alright. I suppose if we have a movement i'll join in. I'll make a thought out topic maybe once or twice a day as well.

I really hope we can save RSM.

well i did my good dead for the day - 1 thought out post that isnt pure encouragement or plain CC but a hybrid of the two, wooo!

so i guess my task will be to make 2 of those posts a day, ok gimme a sec ill find another topic!

Only thing is ..for the competition coörds ... we do make comps but we dont make em regular enough, this might be because we just are to lazy cuz well .. hard to say this but there are never more then 3 GOOD entries so as far as i know i dont see a good point in making them, you might think now .. WHY DID I MAKE ORC EVENT COÖRDINATOR.. well ill try to do it better from now :$ :$

We advertise PSOTW but it's more like pixel sig of the month. We should get some more of those going.

So make them yourself its the whole purpose of this post. Start picking up your own work ... get with the program, I'm not saying your lazy or your lame, I'm just speaking in general. If people want posts, make them yourself.

Use to happens, adm work more than members :$

We cant add new emotes to the forum, only an adm, so well, if you are streset being adm, just step down and let another one do the job :$

This forum is a relaxed one where we together learn and discuss, but we need an active adm. I know you don't must do all work, it comes from both sides, adm and members.

Tbh we made a great emotes and is sad we cant use them bc all adm are busy/streset/tired or whatever.

I sugest you to make a new rank, like legends or something like this for the adm who cant be doing his job anymore. They will get their honors for all the work they did on the past. And plz find a new adm who are ready for work ;)

I'm not stressed but I am busy, I can put in the new emotes, just not this exact moment.

i also agree. we need someone who has the TIME to do this kind of thing.

You are busy. I understand that. But it is your responsibility to make sure that everything runs smoothly. In this case, if that means simply promoting some new people to make some changes, then i think that it is your responsibility to do that.

Yeah, when I first joined, everything was great, but now some admins have left, and things have started to slow down :mellow: We haven't had many updates or much anything really :(

Moving, look, i say this once, we need other admins or we need a move, i asked axe if its possible to move and he says he would set up a forum for me. But i will need to make it active and get most active people from here to the new forum..because seriously.. i want rsm to stay alive, but not this way.. :unsr:

ow and page i hope you read my pm, but i'm guessing you got a ton in your inbox so you didn't have the time to go trew your inbox in the last 3 weeks, it pleases me to know you can still put the new emotes up, but in order to let you do this in less time, I asked you in the personal message how many emotes we could put up, and if you wanted to make the selection or if you wanted it done for you ( because i can get a few people togetter to be like the judges what onces go trew ...) ofcourse not the creators of the smiley's

all I needed from you was basiccly a number of how many you will be able or will be wantin to add to / to replace the current smiley's

If you would be so kind to give us that number next time you read this, I will verry much apreciate it. It will get things moving in the smiley section again.

b2d, we need new admins or new forums, simple as that and i think you know that.

someone being an admin XD, i really don't think a new forum would be the awnser, because its really hard to get people joinin and it takes a long time to really get it active.

Those who are active will come, and indeed new admins is a better solution.

page just promote someone respected, sensable and most importantly active to admin, simple as, because i cba to add another forum to my favs.....

I kinda agree but .. what if Päge is not able to make other ppl admins ? then what ? then we are kind of .. screwed :unsure:

orc. dont be so eager to give up all that we have worked for here. there is still things that can be improved upon, yes, but i dont think that it calls for a total move.

Administrators, moderators, and other powerful figures. i am sure that you understand what needs to be done, and you will be sure that it DOES get done. or else the community will run into 'administration VS members' conflicts in the future.

Born, the emotes, I will talk to you via MSN. Now I'm happy to see so many of you have carefully posted on this topic with smart answers and posts to make me eager to read, my acvitivity will grow since my busy time is nearly done, some weeks I will be free others drop dead busy ... Yes I am one of the few remaining admins but just relax about it and bare with it. ;)

I will need people to start reading RSM announcements more often and all I want now is just more active members, and ummm... there will be two things coming up.

Bad - Demotions from those who cannot support their moded area.

Positive - More ratings and moderation spots.

This place will get more serious depending on how many members get active.
