i cant vote. I have owned all of those guns except for an alein, ion, and freestyle. I cant keep a gun long enough to delcare one my favorite.

I have owned every dm/pm except for the PM6 and DMC. Thats a matrix, 2 DM4s, DM5, PM5, and DM6.

I'm sorta partial to tippmann, though it's a highly biased opinion cause I love my a-5, not that I wouldn't like another brand, but currently I enjoy my a-5 too much to try another marker.

But.. I don't see NSG on the list.. :(

Dye as in the ultralite cockers maybe.

I like other brands of cockers. Not the new wgp ones. CCI Phantoms, and tippmanns arent bad either.

Just nothing electronic, ohhhhh except for the old shoebox shockers, when shockers where actually good.

hey man why do you hate on people that use actual good guns? All i have read that you have posted is about how gay it is when people use fast guns and how people who use fast guns cheat. These days the most people shoot is 15bps in psp. That isnt that fast and its alot of fun. You really need to get over yourself. Do you even play anymore?

Actually I think phantoms are great guns, and just because it's a pump doesn't mean it's not good, take my pgp for instance, I love it, and the fact that it will probably never break down on me during play is a major plus, where as semi autos and electros have tons of things that can go wrong and are usuall far less reliable in the long run than a pump, but meh, I don't want to turn this into a pump vs. electro debate.

And on a side note 15bps is way too fast in my opinion, nobody likes to take 20 or so balls to the groin in just a couple seconds........ again, just me.

I dont think people like 1 ball to the groin :D

15bps is not to fast. Would you rather have someone shooting there gun on a ramp mode maxing there halo out? I agree phantoms are great guns but there is no reason for him to keep doing that. As for the groin shots i agree with wardog in that even 1 shot is enough.

Oh ok so now it is my fault. Well lets look at this shall we. Jon you bash everyone that doesnt agree with you period. Well I would say bash but you really dont do a very good job at it. No I dont think shooting fast is gay...just pointless. I have played with a dm4 (which was my brothers) and I just would shoot three balls at a time. I have ebladed almost every cocker I have had. But I never shot over 5 balls a second. The reason I dont like the newer shockers is because my brother had one and had nothing but problems with it. Colin had his octane shocker which didnt do too bad, then I think at one point he ran into some problems. And to me anything electronic is trouble waiting to happen. It maybe as soon as you get it or years down the road. But personally I dont want the headache of trying to fix one everytime it messes up. The less that can go wrong with it the better I like it.

As far as speed shooting goes let me ask you one question. Why do you need to shoot 10 or more balls a second?

So now to why I dont get to play much anymore. I dont get to play that much because of work and bills. Well another reason is because everyone I liked playing with (with the exception of Joey) has stopped playing. Which for me it isnt fun to play if you dont have someone there to goof off and talk to. I would have stopped sooner because it was getting too easy (playing game after game never getting shot, shooting less than half the other team). I played shooting only left handed. I didnt get shoot as many people, but I still wasnt "challenged enough). That is why I went and started playing pump. I tried to make it more challenging on myself. But that got old after awhile...but I guess after playing for about 10 years (and Friday night, all day Saturday and all night Saturday, and almost all day sunday for at least 3 years) you start to get burned out.

Crap I recall games when it was me, my brother and Saturday. My brother with his dm4, Sat with mis dm3, and me with my phantom. We would go out there us three against everyone. And we would win. And sometimes I would have alot more kills than they would because they would almost shoot to pin them down while I was flanking and getting angles. I know that one day it was 18 against us and we kept winning (even in airball). But people were complainging to Toby (and I do remember Julie was reffing that day). But they had to split us up to make it more fair anyway. I still recall Saturday an Jeremy trying to get her to keep letting us play together and them saying he only has a pump. But I was shot one time that whole day and that was by Saturday. I got saturday once and Jeremy got him once. And Saturday got Jeremy once. So it was basically us shooting each other.

Now when I had my tactical cocker that was a completely different story. Man that one day we went to LOF. I filled my hopper up. I shot somewhere around 15 people and probably used like 25 balls. I would have to ask Jeremy or Saturday if they remember. Because I didnt use alot.

But maybe you dont have that problem. But when something gets too easy it stops being fun. And what is the purpose of playing if you arent having fun?

I had also been talked into playing tournaments and stuff (because it wouldnt be as "easy"). But I dont like airball, so that was out of the question. So what am I suppose to do? Play and waste my money not enjoying myself. Or take some time off until I get the "fever" and want to play again. I just dont have a strong desire to play anymore.

So before you jump to conclusion maybe to you need find out stuff. But once you grow up some you will realize to ask. I dont bash any guns without good reason. Maybe I dont like how they shoot, maybe they just werent comfortable to me, maybe all the ones that I had seen being used were messing up. Also stop being hypocritical. If someone doesnt like what you do, then they are "gay and need to shut up". If you dont like what they like, then they are "gay and need to shut up".

Just for once why dont you try to put things in perspective and consider what you are saying.

Sorry you've "lost the desire" to play. Hopefully you'll get it back. My problem is I love to play but the body doesn't work too well anymore. I see a move but can't make it anymore.

As for types of guns vs another, I really do like them all. The biggest issue I see in paintball is that one group hates on what the others likes. Airballers vs Woods vs Scenerio. Truth is most players like some if not all types they just have a favorite. Nothing wrong with that but don't knock another type of play just because another type is preferred. I like airball the best but city and woods are fun too. I would love to do a city only tournament.

As for friends not being there, I can understand that but most of the guys at LOF are pretty cool to be with. I'm old enough to be their dad, but instead of looking at them like kids I see people to be friends with.

What does eveyone think about having games such as pump only, or 15 bps only?

Make it clear that is what that game is and enforce it.

Well pump only would be like stock class. I didnt say I dont like playing against them (people that have electros). Like I said I only have issues with guns that have given me or someone else I know problems.

Another thing is. People get fast guns to try to keep up with other people with fast guns. And alot of the times a faster gun wont help them. Some people (Now I am talking about new people and kids) dont realize that the person they are playing against may just be better and it isnt because they cant shoot as fast.

Now possibloy in a tournament I can see having to shoot fast. But in recball. Take LOF for example. If you break more than three you are "suppose" to walk out with the person. Now I will admit I did this once and I went by the rule and walked out with that person. But very rarely, and I mean "very" maybe twice have I seen this rule enforced.

But now sticking with that. If you cant break more than 3 why does someone need to throw 20 balls a second at a person.

I dont mind watching airball or a tournament. I dont like airball though. I just never got into that part of the game. Maybe it is because I like not knowing where everyone is. Or the thrill of getting too far out in front of my team and having them shoot me. But I guess it is the whole stalking/hunting type game that I enjoyed.

Now it is all about who can shoot the most the fastest. Big turn from the game a fell in love with so many years ago. And I truely miss those days.

I like all guns and types of paintball. I was a scenario player, who hated airball and now I just got to play in my first tourney (thanks Pops and Tobey). My next gun I plan on getting will probally be a pump. I have a a-5 for scenarios and an Ion for tourneys. They both seem to have worked well for me.

my epiphany is pretty good. I like it. I think im going to buy an EGO or a newer Shocker when I have the money saved up and keep the epiphany as a backup. Or whatever. It's good stuff
