What did you think of the event? Vote in the poll above and talk about what you liked/didnt like.
I voted Wet, (in Python fashion). In seriousness, I thought the event was really fun. The rabbit's new wheels were very nice (a lot better than before)
The missions were good, and the questions on the bridge cought me by surprise. My only complaint/suggestion goes with the shields. I think they caused some of the overshooting problems (although minor).

i thought it was great this was an awesome theme day even if it was raining and i think the shields were a good and a bad thing at the same time

Just curious, who voted poor? Explain to us what you didn't like about the event and stop hiding behind an anonymous vote.

I voted great although "wet" was a close second. Missions were good although I was glad I didn't have to move the rabbit. People in the open like that can lead to problems. Key is if you are hit, get your gun up and get off fast. Yelling "hit" doesn't work with all the noise going on. Even the rain couldn't ruin the fun. The guys coming out for theme days for the last year or so are really a good group. They play hard and fair and it keeps it fun for all.

Sometime, that isn't even enough. The welt in my arm pit just healed. :P
The sheilds do change things up a bit. People tend to throw more paint at the sheilds. My inner thigh and shin can prove that. Though, it was nice to b able to jump out in the middle of the speedball field, hide behind the sheild, and distract 1/2 of the black knight's team. With that one guy shooting at over 400fps, I'm glad I had the sheild. I'm still trying to determine if the dent in my sheild was there before the game, or added during the game.

You are right about shields getting attention. I used one couple of times and got pasted. It's ok though, you have to expect that if you play a special charecter or use special weapons everybody on the other side will be gunning for you. :D
