Title: MPP Games
Description: 24hr scenario at CDP in Taylorsville

SAPPER69 - April 21, 2008 10:25 PM (GMT)
CDP is having a 24hr game May 17-18. It is a MPP game so it should be a blast! Pre-reg. ends May 10 and cost $50.00, after that it is $60.00 to play.

This link will take you to the CDP site and you can read more about it, download and print all the waivers.

I have already spoken with Eddie, and we are planning on trying to go to this. I also believe that Wayne told me his group of technophiles was planning on going to this too.

Post up if you are interested in going with us. CDP has a camping area you can stay in, there are hotels not too far away if your not man enough to sleep on the ground. There is a couple of places within 15mins. of driving to eat.

What kind of camp ground is it?

Gesani - April 22, 2008 12:57 AM (GMT)
I know for a fact wayne and myself are going.. and we are going to stay at the red roof.. why i am not sure.. but we are..

as for camping it depends on what part is opened up.. a good portion of it is old speedball fields other used to be overflow parking. you can bring tents trailers or RV's.. no hookups.

Last time we stayed in what used to be a parking lot.

I dont htink I would want to do any dry camping but is there any full hookup camp grounds near by?

SAPPER69 - April 22, 2008 03:27 PM (GMT)
I found one with full hookups, but its about 29mins from the field. I dont know the area so I'm not sure if there is more around than that. They even have free wi-fi for ya Jester.

Because I don't want to be setting up the pop-up or a tent at 9pm. Besides, the Red Roof is closer to the places selling the post-game beer and BBQ. :D

Also, I highly reccomend Wild Wok, behind the mall (past Firebonz, right turn after the mall) Excellent Asian cusine that's not buffet. Sushi bar also (for those that like that sort of thing)

You know, If I get a minute, I'll throw together a KML file for Google Earth(also usable in Google Maps) pinpointing some of these useful places. I'll stick it on the group website when/if it's done.

Google Maps page showing Points of Interest.. I've found these places handy in the past.

remember, the correct order is game then beer, game then beer, game then beer. some get that confused. :P

You make that mistake ONE TIME, and they never let you forget it... ;)

I guess it's the same concept as remembering to pillage first, then burn.

I talked to Eddie tonight and he and I are both still going. It looks like Brent and Clay Mathis will be there too. I know that I will be camping. Not sure about Eddie or Brent and Clay.

I just did my registration online. It is $60.00 including your air pass. Hopefully I wont have to work that weekend now that I have already paid!

I would love to go but the wife is going out of town that weekend and my son isnt old enough to play.

That sucks. Hopefully we will see you out there one of these days!
