I read it, it really doesnt apply to me however i agree that it sucks really bad and that there is definatly sketchy going on with Rob/Larry/PBC/CFOA

so maybe its just me but all the money that goes into cfoa/pbc must be a huge sum of money with sponsors and team entrys i know the expenses must be a lot but all of the left over money. is it a non profit organization? or is it going straight into larrys pocket? this may be a dumb comment but i was just wandering

it's really not that big of a deal. Most of all the teams shoot the brands except zap/chronic that are on the list. It's crappy to come out this late and push it instead of telling everyone 4 or 5 months ahead of time but it's kinda hard to ask someone for their money to sponsor the cfoa when people are shooting other brands of paint when you come to them and say "your x amount will put you as a sponsor and your paint will be allowed in our series" it's more of a screw you to paint companies than to the players.

wat happened

Larry Motes (CFOA owner) made the CFOA a field paint only tournament meaning teams can only shoot paint from companies that "sponser" the CFOA and if a company doesnt pay $30,000 they arent an official "sponser" and teams cant shoot their paint. The way i see it any company that helps a CFOA team helps the CFOA. I think it sucks even if it doesnt personally effect my team. I feel for Jon and the rest of React as well as the other teams that arent going to be able to play this season due to this shitty rule.

$30,000 was just a number someone stuck out there and Zap may still be joining with the others that responded and they may not be. What make it so bad is the short notice of it all and the fact the sponsors didn’t inform their teams about their decisions but as far as locking in vendors for a tourney they are just trying to follow what the PSP is doing.
