is there ANYTHING different from this and the M7? other than the hyper2 looks different and slightly different milling?

Probably not. Most model changes are milling/colors and maybe slight mods to grip frame. Most are just trying to get a different look so it appeals to someone else. Every few years most manufacturers will come out with something really new.
