Anyway, I thought it ran fairly smooth although some of the players (or at least it seemed to me) did not understand the infection system and it caused some tension between the teams.

Thanks for coming out guys. I think we ended up with over 50 players.

The game was great, I had a lot of fun. I thought the script was great.
I agree there was a bit of confusion on the human side. Maybe next time make some copies of the script and put them out in the break area before the game so the players can read thru them.

Scripts have been copied for every person in one of the themedays before. It really did not work that well. Because of the way this themeday had to run, we could not post scripts up in HQs because there was no specific HQ for the humans, and the zombies just had to kill for 45 minutes.

We are open to any ideas that would help players retain the script so they don't get confused.

Hummmmm Ideas to make Most paintball player remember the scrip?????? Bearly dressed Females spelling out the letters with their bodies...... no wouldn't work eather no one would get past the first sentence... :D ...

I think the only main confusion was the human getting shot by a Zombie and how to deal with it with the medic and what happend if the horn blew and no medic found first...

I wish I coulda palyed....Black River paintball pretty much sucks. If your in the area and want to waste 70 bucks to play, go for it but I wouldnt plan a trip to Raleigh around going to their field!

Yeah, I was one tired puppy at day's end of the RE3 Theme Day. I hope everybody had a good time. Sorry to hear Michael Leech had a bad time at Black River Paintball. Here's an idea (and it's not actually mine, but sort of a compilation of ideas from players in the past). When we have such a simple task for one team (for example all the zombies had to do was kill, kill, kill...), we could list 3 (or more) things on the back of everyones badges. Such as: IF YOU'RE A ZOMBIE AND GET KILLED YOU......./ IF YOU'RE A HUMAN AND GET KILLED YOU......./ ALL HUMANS WHO ARE STILL INFECTED AT THE TIME OF A REJUV HORN SHOULD...... Get the idea? Let me know what you think. And just so everyone knows, we went to Cracker Barrel after closing on Sunday evening and Roman and his father were there eating. Roman was walking well with no limp. He said it was pretty sore though. Later.

Hope everyone had a good time. If some of you were not clear on something please either post on it or send us an email or pm. After you've planned and talked about a theme day for over a month its seems simple to us but if we can explain it better we are open to any ideas.

As for playing paintball in raliegh, i prefer gotcha in wake forest, and if your willing to drive an hour and a half go to pbc greensboro. there are also a few fields scattered throughout durham and chapel hill(none of them are that good).
