-16th game play (no 15th game point): XFactor makes a push down to the X and manages to help get Dogs 2 eliminations, but X-Factor lost a couple players, as well, in the process. Then the game play got slowed down when it came to a 1 on 1, then time ran out. Dogs WIN 6-7.
2nd MATCH: BOSTON vs XSV
-1st game point: 2000 - 1836 / Boston with the first point on the board, Boston - XSV / 1-0
-2nd game point: 1636 - 1446 / Of the break, both eams find themselves in the middle, then at 1621, Boston makes a dash for the dorito, but gets shot by XSV’s stand up can by the dorito tape. 1610, XSV loses one, but gets to the snake corner. XSV loses another soon after, and that’s when Boston started closing the game. Seconds before Boston hung the flag, XSV conceded the point. 2-0.
-3rd game point: 1246 - 1156 /XSV makes a dash to the 50X on the dorito tape, Boston goes into the jungle to shoot that X out at 12:25. Boston pushes down the field quickly after that elimination and finishes the rest of XSV. Score: 3-0
-4th game point: 956 - 801 / Rich Telford’s line manages to take out 2 with about 9 minutes to go, 2 minute minor penalty against the Russians at around 8:10, bringing the field down to a 1-on-1. Boston wins the point. 4-0.
-5th game point: 601 - 357 / Boston gets eliminated first at 5:26, XSV with all alive. Thomas Taylor in the snake. Siewers in the 30 dorito on the team tape. Thomas makes the push to the 50 at 440 to go. Siwers makes the push at 424 on the 40 dorito. Shoots out the snake on Boston’s side. Finishes off the backline at 4:04 as both Thomas and Siewers simultaneously runs down the tapes, shooting across field at the last 3 Boston players lined up in all the back bunkers. XSV with the first point on the board. 4-1

Boston has a snake player at the head, at 1:46 Boston in the standup behind the snake. Thomas gets shot out, and loses all players on the right tape at 1:25. two left on XSV centerback and Siewers iat the 30 dorito, but is left alone against 3 Boston. Score: 5-1

-9th game point: 1713 - 1415 / XSV Thomas Taylor eliminated from the snake at 15:03. But XSV with 3 alive still. Boston has 2 left. Siewers opened the game up at 14:25 and finished up the game. 6-3
-10th game point: 1215 - 1201 / XSV conceded the point, giving it to Boston, 7-3.
-11th game point: 1001 - 9:23 / Boston taking out 3 right away, leaving to left in the back on XSV, Boston forcing XSV to concede once again, 8-3.
-12th game point: 7:23 - 447 / Boston gets eliminated first at 6:57. XSV using the doritos with 2 on their tape, one behind the other at 6:37. Boston losing their snake at 6:26, leaving the snake corner, standup can in center, and dorito on 30 left for Boston. XSV bumped up the field to the 35yard line on dorito at 525 Telford walks down the center of the field behind the pins near the dorito tape, but gets eliminated. Nielson makes a bump, but gets taken out, but Boston loses their last two players in the process, leaving one left on XSV’s side to bring in the flag. 8-4.

3rd MATCH: LA IRONMEN vs OAKLAND INFAMOUS
-1st game point: 2000 - 1852 / Both teams go for the snake, but get eliminated off the break. Infamous with the first point on the board. 0-1.
-2nd game point: 1652 start time / Ironmen get eliminated first off the break followed by Cuba at 1629 left. 1623, Infamous goes to the 50X. 5 minute against Infamous at 1610. Ironmen’s Mr U is left over against 2 Infamous players and gets taken out, Ironmen conceding the point before Infamous could even get the flag. During that game play, Infamous gets a 5 minute major. 0-2

Billy Wing makes a run up the dorito tape and Ironmen gets G4 soon after that. Just one left and the Ironmen push down the field at 649. Get flag at 641 and runs it in 6 seconds from flag grab to hang. 3-2
-6th game point: 500 - 410 / 125 left on Infamous’ major penalty time, Infamous lises a player at 647 from snake corner. 432 Ironmen in the 50, Oliver Lang, takes out the last Infamous player. Nicky Cuba runs in the flag in 5 seconds. Since the major penalty, Ironmen scored 4 points since Infamous’ was penalized with that 5-minute major (assessed for playing on). 4-2

At 252, another Infamous drops, Nicky Cuba and Oliver Lang alive with Ollie taking out the Dorito tape, Ironmen’s snake player, Xalo, still alive, as well, with Cuba backing him up in ths standup behind the snake. 6-2

-9th game play: Both teams have players in the snake, but at around 1:15, Infamous snake gets taken out. Ironmen’s 5 to Infamous’ 4 when at 50 seconds to go, Infamous bounces out to the snake corner. Infamous shoots out Ironmen from Dorito side in pack, but Infamous loses a player around the same time at about 25 seconds to go. At 13 seconds, Infamous makes a run for the 50X, but time runs out, keeping the score at 7-2.
LA v INF 2nd HALF
-9th game point (10th game play): 2000 - 1805 / In the first 10 seconds, Infamous gets a 2 minute minor penalty. At 1925, it’s a 2-on-2. Billy Wing and snake corner player left on Ironmen. Infamous in the snake and on the 35 yard line on the dorito tape. Infamous makes a push down the snake at 1849 and then on the 40 dorito tape. 1 left player 1830, snake corner left, it’s a 2 on 1, Ironmen concedes the point to keep the penalty time on the board. There’s 21 seconds left on that penalty. Infamous scores, 7-3.

4th MATCH & FINAL Quarterfinal Match: DYNASTY vs PHILLY

Schwartz shooting across field at the center back, then shoots the back left, then wraps and tries to shoot the center back. While that’s happening, another Dynasty player comes from the center of the field to bunker out the remaining Philly players. Tied up, 2-2
-5th game point: Philly shoots out a Dynasty player in the first 10 seconds. 4- on 4 at 450. Soon after, Davey Williamson gets taken out, Philly starts the push at 420 to go. Dynasty with a center back and two snake player left. It’s now a 3-on-3. Dynasty eliminates another one at 331, making it a 3-on-2. Brian Cole on the dorito tape at Dynasty’s 20, but Dynasty manages to go into Philly’s snake side and takes out the last two. Dynasty leading by 1. 3-2.
-6th game point: Dynasty assessed a major at 250 to go, leaving Dynasty with 3 left. Dynasty goes to the 50, but gets taken out. Dynasty left with two players. Then 1 left at 208. At 2, Philly gets the flag and hangs it in 6 seconds. Tied up again 3-3.
-7th game point: Dynasty starting with 4 against Philly’s 5 with 405 left on their major penalty time to serve. Phillt in Dynasty’s snake at the 50 at 50 seconds. Philly earns another point. 252 left on Dynasty’s major penalty. They’re leading now, 3-4.

DYN vs PHL 2nd HALF
- 8th game point: 2000 - 1750 / Davey Williamson and BC left on the field for Dynasty and they’re playing some defense to burn more time off the major penalty time. Philly running up the middle, then darting out towards Davey Williamson on the dorito tape. It’s a 1-on-1 with BC and JT Bouchard on the field. At a second before the Dynasty’s major penalty time ended, Philly threw the flag, keeping a second left on that major. Dynasty with the point, tying it up at 4-4.

Ryan Moorhead eliminated at 404. 353 Dynasty moving down the field and Brian Cole again breaking open the game, bunkering out the one of the two players who was in the dorito. At the same time, Philly’s snake player gets eliminated and Dynasty scores again when Philly concedes the point. 8-5.

Josh Davey takes off for the center back, and then runs into the snake at 1443. Josh Davey shooting across field at the Dogs player, #15, on the dorito tape. Josh Davey gets taken out when he tries to tuck in from the dorito shooter by the Dogs player at the stand up can behind the snake. Two on 1, then Q shoots across to the standup and takes him out, bringing it down to a 1-on-1 between Q and #15 “Mikey” on Dogs. Q wins it for Dynasty. 0-2.

-4th game point: 425 - 1:30 / At 309, Josh Davey gets behind Q, who’s in the mini-X bunker in front of him on the dorito tape. Dynasty has a snake player in the head of Dynasty’s snake. Raymond Knuth of the Dogs on the dorito corner, with Dog’s snake and snake corner still hot. It’s a 3 on 3. At 155, Dogs go into the 50 snake, who manages to take out Q and when Josh Davey tried to make a run towards the center back to make something happen, he gets eliminated. Dogs hung it at 1:30 to go. 2-4
-5th game point: 1:30 - 0:15 / Dynasty called timeout before the 5th game point started. Then, Dogs called a timeout. With 15 seconds left, Dogs hung the flag to put another point on the board for themselves. 3-4.
ND v DYN 2nd HALF
-6th game point: 2000 - 1232 / Both teams playing with little aggression, Dynasty with a 1 point lead going into the 2nd half. It’s a 3 on 3. Alot of time is burning off the clock. It seems as though most of them are low on paint on both teams. At 1258, Dogs make a run from the center back all the way to Dynasty’s snake, waking up the game. Dogs score and tie up the match, 4-4.
Comment: The two teams that end up in the finals have a tough day of competition bceause they have to play 1 quarterfinals match, 1 semifinals match, and then play the match in the finals, playing a total of 3 matches in one day. During prelims, each team only plays 1 match per day. It’s pretty hot here at Council Bluffs, almost as warm as it is at the World Cup event in Kissimmee, Florida.
-7th game point: 1032 - 204 / Another long game play, Josh Davey finally takes out the Dog’s snake player across field and soon after, Dog’s #7 makes a run down the dorito tape, but gets shot in the process. Dynasty scores, taking the lead, 4-5.
-8th game point, Dogs in the 50X at the start of the game. Dogs have 4 to Dynasty’s 5. Dogs in the snake at 350. At 324, Raymond Knuth makes a push down the dorito tape and quickly thereafter, the Dogs 50X gets taken out. Dynasty pushes down the field to get the Dog’s snake player out, but misses at around 3 left in the match. Dogs then push down to the 50 yard line at 240, hoping to at least tie the match to go into overtime. There are 3 Dynasty players left to Dog’s 1 now with just 212 to go. Dogs trailing by 2, Dynasty winning. 4-6

Billy Wing makes a move to the 50 at 910 to go shooting at the snake corner. Boston makes a run for the 50 snake to take out Paxson and that’s when Boston took over. Boston took out Billy Wing on the dorito tape then Paxson gets a minor penalty for playing on and puts Alex Goldman in the penalty box. Ironmen called a time out stopping the clock at 808. 5-8

It’s a 1-on-1 Hamen Chapman versus Nicky Cuba with an Ironmen player waiting in the penalty box Nicky gets the flag after he wins the 1-on-1 and times it perfectly as the clock ticks down, erasing the time on the penalty, then hanging the flag. 6-8

Boston now in our snake and Paxson going for it, running to the snake corner to try to shoot the snake out, but gets shot on the move, Oliver Lang is left over, trying to make it happen, but Ironmen concedes the point. 6-9

-18th game point: 113 - end / Boston adds another point on the scoreboard after walking in the flag and then standing in front of the net with just a second left on the clock to make the score 6-12. Boston WINS.

Going into this, Dynasty is coming off two Championship finishes in a row in the NPPL being the winners of the PRO division in Tampa and then in Boston. In the PSP, Dynasty has finished up in 3rd place consecutively since LA Open, but they’re hoping to get a third championship
