Either way you vote please post explaining your reasoning. I need to prove to the schools that there is a huge level of interest for this and i need the help of this forum. Also send this petition to all your paintball friends and tell them to sign.

paintball should be a school sport because it teaches leadership and discipline. and its fun :P

It should be school sponsored sport. The same teamwork and athletic skills(speed, quickness, flexibility) are required for paintball as you find in other sports.

This would be very hard to put past a PTO board. There are HUGE safety concerns with something like this. Let’s face it this isn’t football. You’re firing projectiles at over 200FPS at 15bps. You could have some serious locker room accidents if things were not supervised very well. As a parent I would have huge safety concerns and would have to see a lot of school bought safety equipment before I would allow my son to even think about playing. Now his mother on the other hand wouldn’t even allow no matter what and most moms in a PTO would be the same way.

we have a power point created that talks about ways to make it safer. there wont be any guns in the locker room or in the hands of a student at school. you would need to check them in with the teacher that is sponsoring the team before school started then you could get them back at the game/practice. we need to get this started with the utmost level of safety.

yes i think it should be a school sport because it keeps kids as active as other sports such as football or baseball. there is just as much physical excersice in paintball as in other sports plus there is not as many injuries... refer to pb2x. it think i saw a fact in there that said that one time... and it is common sense... i voted yes
