Special Roles
Note: There are NO invincible characters. If anybody including a general or XO is hit, they will wait their rejuvenation time to be up before reinserting back into play. Commanding roles CAN’T issue objectives and direct troops while dead. A live commanding officer can issue orders to dead troops, but the orders can’t be carried out until they rejuvenate. (This is to keep people shooting paint and playing)

2 Commanding Officers (XO)

Lines
There will be a yellow tape line in front of the Japanese HQ. Americans cannot cross this line.

Mortars
The American commander will have mortar fire periodically until they blow through the barbed wire. He also will have 2 mortar fire cards. These will call mortar fire to the vicinity of the pelican.

Smoke Grenades
These will be used at the referee’s discretion.

Rejuvenations
Every 10 minutes a rejuvenation horn will sound. Players that were hit waiting at the HQ can reinsert.

General Premise
Players are split into two teams. Each team will play a side and then switch roles during the half. The Americans are trying to complete a list of objectives located at their start base for points. The Japanese are trying to defend the fields and prevent the Americans from gaining points.

HQs and Respawn Zones
Each team’s HQ is their respawn zone. The Americans spawn at the cemetery and the Japanese must spawn at the temple in the back of the big woods.

Banzai Charge
The Japanese commander will be issued 2 Banzai Charge passes. He can use these to rally his troops and send a massive charge at any time during the event. This includes taking people from the rejuvenation point.



American Objectives

1) Blow a hole(s) in the barbed wire
Points: 50
In order to reach the top of the make it off of the beach, the Americans will have to make openings in the barbed wire using Bangalores (3 PVC pipes that need to screwed together). These will be passed under the barbed wire on the beachhead (tape between city and airball field).

2) Destroy Shore Gun
Points: 50
The shore gun on top of the helipad can only be destroyed by a grenade through the top or by a rocket launcher. The Americans will start with the rocket launcher. It has limited range, and blue paint must strike the target for points.

3) Raise the flag on Mt. Surabachi
Points: 50
The Americans must attach an American flag to the pole on top of the helipad and raise it.

4) Rescue wounded Marine
Points: 100
Rescue a wounded marine from the helipad with a stretcher located at the American HQ. As the Americans return with the Marine, they must give him a blood transfusion. Materials needed for this will also be located at the American base.

5) Remove Charges from Bridge
Points: 100
The Japanese has planted 3 bombs on the bridge. Players must remove the bombs for the bridge to be used. The Japanese will be able to set 3 charges which will destroy the bridge and prevent its use. Marines can repair the bridge by bringing .50 caliber ammo boxes from their HQ and placing it by the damaged section.

6) Recover Intel
Points: 100
A briefcase with maps and other critical information will be located in the 1st big woods base. Retrieve it and bring it back to your HQ.

7) Blow Fuel Dump
Points: 150
Take 3 demolition charges from your command post and place them on the fuel depot located close to in the big woods. Then, pop a smoke grenade to ignite the charges.

8) Gather Ramp Sections
Points: 150
Collect 3 sections of steel plating (particleboard) to take back and reinforce the airfield runway located in the center of the city.

9) Destroy Japanese Command Post
Points: 150
Take the bazooka (SPKNer) and destroy the Japanese HQ by blasting a target just inside the doorway of their HQ.
