Ideas to prevent camping on spawn points?
We have been discussing have a "safe area" around rejuv spots that the "home" team can fire out of but not be shot at while they are in it. For the Godfather theme day, the last row of buildings at each end would be the safe areas. No mission objects would be hid there. The idea of a theme day is to accomplish "missions" and since the space we have is limited, we need to get ideas to prevent "bottlenecks". If we had use the other 2 story and "safe areas" around them, I think the Godfather theme day would have been much better.
You guys did a great job on the script. This was the funnest theme day I have ever participated in at LOF. I don't what the solution to the camp out is. If we had more room it would help but every big game I have ever played has has the same issue, even on 1000 acer fields.
Having the spawn points farther apart seems to help like in the SvG game.That also has drawbacks.
Laying down the rules and enforceing them is the only way to stop it. Possibly taging a perimiter around the spawn point with tape on buildings and bunkers, if you are cought in or behind a taped defense point you will have to sit out for 30 min./ caught again Good Bye for the day.
Who Knows? Just another idea to think about.

It is kind of hard to prevent, I really dont know what you could do except really penalize people who do it. Maybe assign refs to look for just that.
ENFORCE the rules there was spawn camping but none of the people that were doing it got penalized for it despite the warnings and threats
