Ok, I was on a team in the Blue Ridge Paintball Winter Open 2007 and there were many things that bothered me. First, I like LOF, Toby is really kool, but the assasins. everyone saw at least one of the 3 players wipe. they would get goggle shots and keep shooting. Does LOF no teach sportsmanship. I was thriller when Wolverines team "storm" beat them bc Storm are really cool and not cocky and arrogant and they play good paintball and dont cheat. Pops took a leg hit and i was standing right there at the net and bhe looked down and kept shootin and it busted. Im completely disgusted with their playing. after they got spanked by storm they about cried and when they left they was a lot of trash left in the parking lot where they was parked. I will no longer ever come to LOf simply because there teams just gave LOF a bad name. Toby, you need to do something because as of saturday, everyone hates Pops, Justin, and the little #$%%$# that overshot everyone. Im not tellin u what to do just really think about the bad publicity you are getting

the part about storm playin good paintball made me giggle...they have one player that can actualy play, but will not grow any better unless they cut the leash they have him on. and WOW they can win 3 man tournaments, thats where real tournament paintaball is at!!!

if you want to complain about how somebody plays tell them at the field not on a forum where none of them post so they cant respond. wake up thats how tournament paintball is there is no such thing as over shooting cheeating is common place if you dont cheat or over shoot then just dont if you want to complain then dont play.

edit: there are penaltys in place for cheating like for fouling in basketball. they played the greyline and got away with and where was this tournament?

Its tournament paintball, there are gonna be arguments, playing on, cheating, and overshooting. It happens, does that mean that anybody on the assassans hates wolverine? No not at all, im pretty sure that other then just competitive nature there is nothing personal at all with them. I personally loved when we beat them, but when we didnt then i didnt plan on burning their field or anything. Its a game, and i have respect for anyone who plays it.

Dude, Evidently you have never cleaned up after any game. Paintballers are slobs in general as far as cleaning up after thier selves. On any given weekend the ref's at LOF pick up at least 3 large bags of trash left behind by {not people driving by throwing it out} PAINTBALLERS. so don't bash anybody for leaving trash at any paintball field, thats what they do. As for cheating. Have you ever played Gregg Hastings paintball on XBox or PS2. modled after THE PROS they CHEAT. thats why they give you the option on the game, to cheat. There are 2 types of paintball players, those who admit to wiping and those who lie about it. I admit I have, can you? or are you a liar.

I know you saw what you saw. I don't believe that Pops would keep on playing if knew the ball had broken. The other 2 I can't say that for. I don't know them that well.

As for over shooting. When you are shooting 20 bps what do you expect. The shooter can't help it if you choose to run into 20 of his balls. I have been hit as much as 40 times. I didn't slam the guy's on the web. I slammed them to thier face's. I soon came to realize that when you have 3 people shooting at you, it don't take many shots from each player to add up in a hurry.
The only thing I whine about is somebody lighting me up when I'm walking off the field with my gun over my head.

Sorry you won't be returning to LOF. I guess we'll have lots of safe fun with out you.

WOW this has been the biggest fude of a tournament that has happend yet. I myself thought it was a pritty bad event all around ( i play for NCeffect), because me and my friends picked up and went and thought she had her ish togeather, and she tryed. I belive she even shoot a air hose at your pod boy. I was sitting at the counter when this happend. So my point is my team shoulda placed 3rd, but it happens. So let the standings lay where they are, and if they cheated that is there personal desicion. Did i see cheating yes, but i saw it across the board from multipul teams. I know i played on for a little i coned myself into that top tombstone to hide a shot on the side of the head. I admit it i am not happy about it, but i did it. O.k. it wasnt the best ever i mean 2 reffs just wasnt enuff everyone i mean EVERYONE was timpted i am shure. So i belive that it needs to lay to rest. lots of things went wrong. We were told 6 teams in simis and we were in 5th but she took only 4. There were people yelln our bunker positions out in our game that could have made us go to simis. The reffing team SPI freaks i am 99% shure that they got a easyer bracket, because that is her field team. So honestly just lay it to rest it was horrable.




as for pops playn on. It was a questionable hit,But i donno i looked at it and ehhhhhhhhhh it was shady not going to lie ,but as said above it part of the bame.


As for the guns i think there was a cheater gun on the team but once agen it happens, and guess what that dm4 that i thought was a cheater gun i am now trying to trade my pmr for a gun almost identical to it. CHEATING HAPPENS and if ya wana go pro u gonna have to cope with it i not saying go out and cheat all the time but if it happens it happens.

waisted trip for everyone who went up there! the only dif in prizes from first to second was placks oh well . as for cheating thats the excuse every rec baller( which is all that was there) aside from storm, uses when some experienced player walks on them. if your not cheating your not trying.
