Title: Hoppers
Description: Bang for the Buck
Heavygunnar - January 20, 2007 08:07 PM (GMT)
Hey Guys,
I have always been a scenario player , but I just bought a DM5 and I need a hopper to put on it.
I read the review on the Pulse, but I seen Toby fight to get the drive module back in for a while.{didn't much care for that}
I've heard good and bad things about everything on the market. What would be the best choice for me?
Or does anybody have a used 1 for sale?
Thanks
Ed

I would reccomend a Halo B. they are the best hoppers for the cheapest.

ok i have owned every single hopper out there. i recommend either a new vlocity or pulse. A halo is a good loader but you need to get a faster board for it and you need to get a stronger drive cone (the stock one will probably break on you). Me and a few of my friends have pulses and we love them. You could ask kurt, alex, or lil bill about how they like them as well as they have been using them for longer than me.

A stock halo can easily feed 15 bps, do you really need anything faster?

i personally dont like halos because of the eyes if a ball busts in ur hopper theres a chance that itll cover up the eyes and ur hopper wont load the reloader b on the other hand can load around 20 bps out of the box and is sound activated so you dont have to worry about eyes id recomend a pulse over anything but for cost go with a reloader

uh no :P

eggs are too easy to rip the lid off when reloading. Also the one Wardog has has a tendency to open if you bump it hard.

probably because he took the springs out.
Gus - January 21, 2007 02:51 PM (GMT)
No its got the springs. The original lid broke off, and the replacement may be oversized.

I have used everything
eddy if you are even consider a hopper it is eaither the pulse or halo.
Right now i have been using my pulse, it works great on the pulse mode, and even better with the rf chip.
The volcitys can barly even feed fifteen, the are a waste of mony
