As for the Zune, I bought my wife a Creative Labs "Zen M" for Christmas. From reviews I've read its alot like a Zune except the Zune has WiFi between other Zune units.
Both have large (30 gig) drievs and both will record almost any format of video or audio that is available. They have voice recorders, FM recievers, and will alos serve as data transfer devices. I am loading pictures and MP3 files on her "Zen M" and so far I really like it. I'm sure the Zune is as good or better.
zunes are retarded they advertised that there version of itunes will have of 6000 songs and videos, guess how many videos are on it at release 0 you cannot import video now to be able to play a shared song you have to send it to some one have them send it to you and then send it back, you cannot share videos at this point. there have been rumors of bad software zune. get an ipod. as always apple>microsoft
