Ever have someone walk into the room and stand behind you and tap you on the shoulder. Respect your fellow janitor. If hes not paying attention and doesn't see you enter the room flick the lights.
Yah, I agree for sure! When vacuuming most of us zone out and being scared witless like that is not fun.
On the other foot being chased down the hall by a pissed off worker and hearing them scream something about the new , umm "storage place" for the vac attachment is extremely scary.
When my old supervisor was a custodian someone snuck up behind him and he turned and punched the guy in the head. It was his supervisor ( go figure ) :bully:
 Ouch! He stayed employed? Must have been understandable to the scaree.
One night a superviser came in and shook the vac cord to get my attention...I was so in zone-world. I jumped a foot in the air and cluched my chest gasping. She said she was soooo sorry, but I had to ask "If you're sorry, how come you're laughing?" Saying sorry with a grin doesn't carry. Hmmmm... It is funny now, looking back. :overtheedge:
