Here to remove black marks from the floors is to cut a tennis ball and shove a long handle in it. It sure is better than using the bottom of your shoe. Theres always tennis balls around the upper schools. We have one janitor that made medal hooks so he could hang his backpack and cord on his double can cart so he wouldn't have to go to his closet. Anyone here use the centers of red pads to clean kitchen pans at home. One of the lower schools that I worked had two small wooden hand carts full of red pad centers. The kids would get out and remove all the scuff marks in the halls for the janitor. These are little ideas that might help someone. Please share your innovative ideas for other custodians.
