I was looking into Orange Oil and citrus extract chemicals and I kept seeing D-Limonene listed in ingredients. I thought it was a chemical compound but when I looked it up I found out its the name for the oil recovered from the steam extraction of citrus rinds.
I added D-limonene to my peroxide cleaner and was very happy with its performance. Chrome did not need wiping because it did not leave a film and the sinks shined. This was used in a non high traffic restroom.
I used D-Limonene to get the talic deposit from bar soaps off of the shower floors. Its advertised as a grease cutter so I figured it would cut the fat. I used it and a light non scratching abrasive pad.
