Has anyone used this system (see link below) or similar system? What do you like or dislike about it? I am thinking of purchasing one. :canada:

We use some thing similar although I have seen this one too. The one we currently have the wax holder is on the front of the handle which makes it heavy. But in big places (we have a gym) it's great.Your done in no time.Your secondary coats are easy too. But in small place's not so good.

I have seen the ones you speak of too. I think the one with the tank may be to clumbsy for office work and in washroom stalls.
Thank you. :crying:

I will fill the bottles with wax for small applications.
I can also use floor cleaner in it for other floors. NO MORE mop and bucket!!

:  They work good but they can be a little expensive. I like the dusters because you don't get a wax build up and I use them on pictures. There is another company too.Look into this web site:

We used them to for summer waxing in the high school. They save wax and you avoid uneven application or build up next to the walls. They are also fast because they iliminate wringing and walking back and forth to the wax bucket. You don't have to worry about sealing the wax bucket from air during overnight storage. You just have to clean the applicator before storing. Just make sure you buy a good one that won't spring leaks. First day employees can lay wax like a pro with one of these as long as he doesn't wax himself in. Ours was a bag that we filled with a funnel.
I will check with the head janitor to see what the savings in application for mop vs. applicator was.

Thanks for the comments, I purchased the scrub express becuse I don't have any great sized rooms to do.It is a little tricky to get use too, but dosn't take long.I have 2 chemical bottles, one for the unit and the other I carry in my pocket (with cap on)so I can do a quick change and I'm ready to carry on. It's perfect for washrooms and small rooms and halls. The wax dried quick because it doesn't leave thick spots like mops do. Nice even coats. My cost in wax was reduced by 50+% on this particular set of rooms.(I do them on a yearly bases), No pails to deal with,no waste of mop heads, no splashing on baseboards.I have a couple more bottles for it and I use it for cleaning a laminate floor in one of the buildings. Great for both applications and it's not sitting in a corner waiting for the next floor to wax. Good tool for $67.00 Canadian..I rate it with 9 out of 10.
The back pack style was over $400.00, I would get a back pack if I had large floors..The microfibre applicator pad gives you a nice flat surface....The flatter the surface, the higher the shine. :canada:

I talked to the high school janitor that used it regularly and he stated that if your floor is uneven the ridgid applicator misses low spots.
He said look how much wax it takes just to load a mop.

Hello,
Yes I had a low spot but it wasn't a big deal. If a floor is too bad, I will use the mop. Also, I'll bet a new mop holds almost half a gallon of wax.
