Any fans of the series finding it a little odd that Mai Shiranui is not in the game, but Raiden is? I can't understand that decision at all. She is one the most popular characters and now that this game was redrawn in HD graphics, it seems odd that she wouldn't be added.

I think SNK is trying to find another character with bewbz to popularize, hence Raiden's inclusion. Where's the full roster? I'm too lazy to search for it.

Am I coming late to the party or something? This roster seems a bit... I dunno... Like something's missing. Like, you know, every character between KoF '94 and KoF XI.

The only thing I know about KOF is that all the bosses are broken as fuck.

KOF12 has all the characters redrawn from scratch in HD. This new look has made the roster hella small, which is why they should have been a little more selective when it came to the characters.

yeah... I'd really like to know what happened to K', Ramon, Shingo, Blue Mary, Vanessa and Seth. They were some of my favorites.

I want to say good things. I really do, but... They went and fucked with the Ikari Warriors. Oh sure, Leona looks good, but she's Leona. She's still going to play horribly. Ralf and Clark look TERRIBLE. I don't care what defense anyone has for the new style. They look awful drawn that way, and the fact that it's in HD makes it even worse.

If you say so, although you are the first person that has complained about the art style out of hundreds of comments that I've read about it.

Eh, could be better but that's an unfair reference, character art versus in-game art. Plus the screenshot is one of him mid-animation, not the best representation. From what I can see in those horrible quality videos is just that he's more muscular, turned from scrawny to big. The gamers playing those games aren't the best players, so you can't even tell if he plays the same.

Give it time before you judge it, right now you have a bad screenshot and crappy videos to go by. I'm a Ralph fan too, I don't like the idea of him being messed with, but I'm not psychic so I don't know what it will be like until I play it. If I judged games without playing them, then I'd believe Dirge of Cerberus would be a groundbreaking sequel. :rolleyes:

Why on earth would you believe that when all signs pointed to the opposite? Anyway, I'm just mad that they messed with his DESIGN. He looks completely ridiculous like that. People on youtube are trying to defend SNK's style choice by saying things like "but now Clark looks like he COULD throw you in the air!" but that's akin to saying "There's really no reason to think Zangief is gay."

I understand what you mean, but I still won't judge it until I've played it for a while, this "new" ralph could even up looking better in the long run. Best example I could think of is Chun Li in SF3, I hated how she was redesigned at first, now I love it.

It was mostly a joke comment. Capcom's been hinting at it for a while now but nothing has been stated one way or the other. He has a special intro with Eagle though...
