To anybody who happens to be able to control the rankings on this site, I personally believe that the rankings are set way too high. At the moment it is a rather small forum, and only the admin have ranks other than Ally (someone finally spelt it correctly) or Guardian, even the members who have posted to most.
Anyway, this is just my opinion.

I personally think its fine, you shouldnt gain a rank very often at all, the idea is they take ages to get so that you have something to notify your long long commitement.....

i for one actually beleive that some of them are too easy to reach, but thats not my call.

Why do we bother with ranks? Really.

I personaly think ranks & post counts intifear with a members posting, it also makes him appear more important, which should not be the case.

Why not?? They are there, so why not use them.

It's like whos oppinon would you most likely go with the guy with 1million posts or the guy with 1 post. I know it depends on the oppinon at hand but still.

Yeah so basically its the admins opinion, which in this case is cal/Euleze who have decided to use them......


Also, ive just checked you cant take the post count off, only the ranks, so the guy with the million posts will still be popular.....

Rankings are fatous. A post count does not make one's opinion any more, nor less relevant. If some one holds you in more or less sway due to your post count, then they really are stupid.

omg the only reason i had to say that the guy with a million posts would get atention is because i knew i would never convince you that he wouldnt...

so even if he DID get attention, it wouldnt make his opinion any more valued than those with not as many posts!!

The rankings are fine. They were based on the same ranking system of other sites which I've been apart of, and no-body complained about them there. Indeed they can be rather difficult to attain, but their not overly important. Whats more important is your warning count, not your post count.

@ Everyone else,
