Have you worked out what tacitcs you'll be using??
Ive always found it to be advantageous to work out team tactics before playing team games or you can end up just playing your own army and forgetting about your allies.

We thought about laying down some Covering fire with the Tactical squads and move the Bikes and assaultunits forward. The Dread will most likely draw attention to it making it more possible to do so.

The Terminators will come in with Deepstrike, that will most likely put a lot of hurt to any enemy force we might encounter.

The Master gives the whole army LD 10 wich is always nice to have.

No further solid tactics as yet.

Looks ok then. Im not that conversant with SM except to see which units would make good targets for my ravagers with disintegrators.

I must be one of the only people around here who has never ever played nor bought space marines.

Make sure you give us a good run down on how you went in the Tourny.

Well we played the tournament today. Though i made a change to my SW army in order to keep get me some more walking and shooting.

The 1st round we had no match. 1 guy didn't show up, although his teammate was their.

2nd round: (we got Masacred)
VS Tau and Deamon hunters with inducted guard (fishy list wich i doubt was legal)

Well this was 1 round alot of pounding from those 2 cause we needed to get close. My teammate made a good move by turboboosting towards cover wich in turn was the same cover wich had 2 Bassilisks after it. From 2nd round on we took the shooting to them cause my Scouts came from behind making 1 of the Bassilisks out the other was taken down be the bikes. Not many points but moral victory.

We also took out a crisis team, Stormtrooper team and a Assassin in cc. Some Greyknights were shot down. But it wasn't far enough to do some serious stuff as all our units (except 1) was either killed or below 50.

They had 3 objectives and we just 1 so they won

3rd match: (Masacre for us)
VS: 2x Eldar
We got 1st turn and took out a Dark Reaper and no less than 3 pathfinders squads. (some good shooting/ bad saving). This cripled our opponent greatly. So their Harlies and all other cc units had to move towards us to get in cc. They managed to get their. and did their stuff. but it wasn't enough after turn 4 only Eldrad remained with 1 wound. Plasma pistols got him (even a re-roll to save did not help)

We had nearly 1000 points standing and they were gone. It does help greatly when you know the others armies while they don't know yours.

The end results were a 2nd of 3. Not to bad since this was more ment as a test run of both our armies.
