10 necron warriors
10 necron warriors
10 flayed ones
3 destroyers
monilith
3 heavy destroyers
1500pts
playing a space marine army this weekend ( guy hasn't played against necrons yet)
monilith will be in reserve and everything else will be in a nice tight phalanx formation. will move foward to within range and fire with everything iv got. then when CC happens will use the veil and monilith to teleport away and fire.
ive had no luck with my tomb spyder either
i have no immortal's yet thats why im using flayed ones.
necrons models: 47 phase out 11
Took this army out for run this weekend and absolutely crushed the voystran army that has been annoying me for the last 4 months.
the monilith was, to say the least, BLOODY FANTASTIC, it dropped right on target in turn 3 then proceeded to shoot the living cr*p out of everything in range, it teleported my troops in close every turn and the amount of fire power i was dishing out was unbelievable.
Had a close game against the Space marines and i phased out in the assault phase of turn 6
edit: opps my mistake meant to say start of turn 6, only had to make 1 WBB roll with 4 dice, and i couldn't even do that ( curse the dice gods)
A good list and sounds like you had some good games.
Just remember with the Necrons that Phase Out only occurs during the beginning of the Necron turn right after your WBB roles. So if Phase Out is at six and your oponent reduces you to 4 models, but 3 get back up, you're not yet phased out.
This is also important because it means, unless you have the final turn of the game, your oponent can't phase you out in turn 6. And even if you have the second turn, if you don't phase out at the beginning of the turn than you still won't no matter how many casualties you take in CC.
