hi guys want to clear up if war walkers are open toped or not.
Now it says in the codex under UNIT TYPE: that it's a WALKER.

nothing about open top unlike the viper which says "Skimmer, open top"

i know that the modle of the walker looks open top but is i classed that way because the codex isn't clear on that, or is it.

If it doesn't say opentopped than it aint opentopped. After all they lost their energy field and such.

I agree, unless it says opened topped than it isn't open topped. Problem solved.

The fluff states that they have a shimmering energy field that distorts their shape. The only in-game effect of this is the war-walker not being open-topped even the model has a big canopy.
