One of the people I play with says that since Walkers fight and move as infantry, they also shoot as infantry. i.e. they count as Size 2 rather than Size 3. However I cannot find anything that suggests that. What is strange is that the guy plays with Dreadnaughts so the ruling would come out in his benefit as well.

Please tell if I'm right or wrong and the revelation pages to look up if I'm wrong.

I don't see what has brought him to this conclusion at all. The entry in the codex states that the War walker is a tank, thus size 3, and a walker. He doesn't move like infantry at all, he moves like a walker.

I guess I mean Walkers move like infantry in the fact that they move 6" and when going over terrain they test like infantry 2d6 and pick the highest.
