Title: Question about Dark Eldar models

ant7 - March 29, 2007 09:56 PM (GMT)
I'm new to this site and was curious to know if anyone has ever used the Eldar guardian models as Dark Eldar, I mean the Dark Eldar models suck. I don't usually bad mouth GW as I see alot on different sites but c'mon their terrible. I actually wanted to collect the army because I thought they would make a tactically interesting army to run but I have to use some stand-in models.

I havent done so myself, but I think it could work very well. I'd adjust the paint scheme to look a lot more aggressive, and would do my best to attach blades to the catapults to give them a more menacing look.

Really, I like the idea.

I haven't, but now that you've said it, that lone Guardian squad i got off e-bay shall be an addition to the name of COMMARAGH!

Thanks for the idea!

Well I like the D.E models, they are unique, sure I don't like the look of the Wyches but the warriors and the incubi make up for them.

I also think that the special characters look quite good as well

I use Dark Elf Wyches as Dark Eldar Wyches cause the models are better.

well i like nearly all the models in the DE range except the warp beasts. Their just such a pain to put together
And when was the last time you saw a GW painted grotesque or hellion in a WD issue.
A few pics here and there to give starting players some inspiration would be cool.
