This is just a general list to use at my gaming club.
HQ:
Dark eldar archon
Agoniser, splinter pistol, combat drugs, shadow field: 131
Heamonculus:
reaver jetbike, destructor and close combat weapon: 76
Troops:
10 warriors
2 dark lances: 100
10 warriors
2 splinter cannons
raider: 155
10 warriors
2 splinter cannons
raider: 155
10 warriors
2 splinter cannons
raider: 155
Fast attack:
5 reaver jetbikes: 125
Heavy support:
Talos: 100
so all that comes to 997 points.
(The heamonculus will go with the reavers.)
And out of that list i have 8 warriors and a raider painted...

That's a fair list. Lean and mean. I usually run a similar list but since I only have 1 raider and no jetbikes yet, my troops are basically footsloggers. I use the points on Sybarites and make my squads a little heavier. I like terrorfex's because they anger my opponent when he sees that he can't assualt or shoot my squads since his unit is pinned. This is handy against Tyranids because those critters are almost as fast as we are.

Looks like a great list. You just have to love those DE Warriors and their weapon and transport options. How does it fare on the table?
And, of course, we'll want to see a fully painted army to match the list pretty soon... ;) So get painting! :D

well i did two test matches in a 3 way match.
In the first match i tended to hand back and swoop in on isolated units.
it was orks v eldar v dark eldar. (i caught a warboss jain zar a squiggoth and the avatar as slaves :P )
In the second match i went all out, used my raiders to deposit troops in ruins and formed a defensive posistion while my talos and lord went for the eldars deployment zone and my reavers and heamonculus went for the imperil guard after the main battle.
I played a 1 v 1 match eldar v dark eldar I took out his transports and fire prism early on so he was left with foot sloggers, and my raiders were easily able to out mounever and outrun him so i led him in circles, while constantly getting shot!
Baharoth and his exarch were all that remained afterwards, and they fled the battle using skyleap.
Oh and also i have painted another 5 warriors, ive added high lights to my old warriors and new ones, re did the eyes in bright blue so its easier to see and re did the 'manes' with the light blue and a light red.

On one hand, i want to know exactly HOW you could capture an avatar and jain zar. Then on the other hand, i want to jump up and yell to stick it to our stuck up cousins.
Its a good list. Manuverability is your friend.

we were playing a 1200 point battle so i had upgrades and an extra three reavers. my raiders flew over head and dangled down the chains.
Making them run isnt the only way to capture them ;)
although i didnt put it in my army list since it was a 1000 point list for a 1200 point game. so its my fault.

just a short note your raider squads can only be armed with 1 splinter cannon each
so that would add another 30 points for you to play with using this list.

Might wanna add wyches in Raider. Most opponents don't like them, (those who know what they can do)

yes good call Spacefisian, wyches rock you can't really go wrong with a unit of them. just be sure to get them into H2H quickly cause they don't stand up to shooting very well
