Close-up of a Nightshade escort, more for the basing technique than anything else. This is the second ship from the squadron "Unseen"

As you can see, I have the basic painting done, I just need to go back and clean things up and detail the fleet, ship by ship. As always, C&C welcome!

Wow, those are some nice ships you have. And a great paint job too!

Now time to go out and battle in space!

Thanks! You're right; that is the next step!

I love the color scheme. Green/Gold just works very well.
I'm doing a similar Blue/Gold with mine to match my 40k troops.
Is that one Shadow and two Eclipse cruisers?
(I have got to get some more cruisers for mine.)

Do not know why I didn't see this topic earlier. Some very impressive painting there Tristan, beautiful models! I've always been a fan of the Eldar BFG ships, and would like to own a fleet if I had the money to.

Just keep trolling eBay. You can find some great bargains because a lot of people are just trying to get rid of theirs because they won't ever use them.
Just start with a cruiser and maybe a pack of escorts and work from there.

I don't usually pay more than half-price for any of that stuff.
(I've even bought some BFG stuff from an Aussie on there. B) )

i missed them as well, but damn that is some nice paintwork. good camera work to considering how smally the model are in "real" life.

I'll second that on the camera. Those Nightshades are so fraggin' small, they are a pain to pin the sails.
