okay following a very good recent suggestion for a camo scheme for my rangers i have now painted a sample
in the link is my normal ranger camo a sea green and grey
next to it is a suggested cammo very vorlon if any of u remember babylon 5

now which do u think is best? bare in mind that my army is iyanden all be it with a darker blue and the whole force including warp spiders and converted scorpions are in yellow and blue i know the yellow and blue isnt very sneaky as camos go but does it look eldarish? does it fit the army better than the sea green?

the yellow and blue ranger has not yet been fully finished eg tocuhing up and base

rangers front view

ranger rear view

I think you should stick with the sea green ones. The yellow and blue is good if you want the rangers to fit in with the rest of your army, but its just to bright and constrasting for a sneaky ranger. I think the dark sea green one looks better.

i think i agree cal might save the colour scheme for another unit later on , maybe.

Yeah, I think the sea green would be a little more appropriate for the models. Sure, most rangers are still very patriotic about their craftworld, but most of them have trodden the path of the outcast long enough to know that its better to be camouflaged and alive than patriotic and in the infinitry circuit (or worse).

Yes, sea-green would be better. Maybe you could mix in more blue if you want them to look more Iyanden.
