Title: Galactic Map
Description: Where's your eldar?
The Banished Ranger - January 10, 2007 02:13 AM (GMT)
Here is the link to the Galactic Map I found.
While it doesn't have everything it's pretty cool ;)
You guys could look at it and choose where you're eldar could be.
My craftworld rests in the Ghoul Stars then descends down to the imperium to attack where they are most vulnerable.
Cheers, BR

Impressive map. It was a good find.
The Craftworld of the Morag-Kith is constantly changing possitions. Those who see it from a distance merely dismiss it as a dead moon of some sort, or a space hulk. It was pretty badly damaged by the warp storm.
A common possition for it to be seen however is above the Eye of Terror. It used to be rather far out, but has been seen coming closer to the Eye of recent years.

Where is Commoragh anyway?
TheEagle82 - January 10, 2007 10:24 PM (GMT)
Second star to the right and straight on till morning... :D
The Banished Ranger - January 11, 2007 12:24 AM (GMT)
After travelling a few hundred light years you see a nebula. Now you hit the asteroid belt and after that, there it is. Don't stay for too long though.
Darn, if I could make this bigger I could show you where I put my craftworld logo.
Inquisitor Liechtenstein - January 11, 2007 07:41 AM (GMT)
Commoragh is located in the deepest darkest corner of the Webway (well the deepest dakest corner other than the Black Library).
Calaith - January 11, 2007 08:09 AM (GMT)
You sure Commoragh is in the web way? I think I've heard refference of it being in real space, but for some reason only accessible through the web way..could be wrong though...
Farseer Saitha - January 11, 2007 09:43 PM (GMT)
Maybe it's in a seperate demension, like the Webway itself?
BTW- Sai-Bre is in the centre of the of the Ultima Segmentum, between the Tau Empire and the Exodite Worlds.
The Banished Ranger - January 11, 2007 10:04 PM (GMT)
Where are the eldar exodite worlds?
Farseer Saitha - January 11, 2007 10:24 PM (GMT)
There's a map in the Eldar Codex.
The Banished Ranger - January 12, 2007 12:10 AM (GMT)
In between which ones?
There are two on the map.
Sorry if I'm being a smart ass right now

Its in the webway. Hey, I may be wrong (as I've been many times before), but I'm pretty sure on this one.
Farseer Saitha - January 20, 2007 12:32 AM (GMT)
Did you ever think of checking both to see which has both the Exodite Worlds and the Tau Empire?
The Banished Ranger - January 20, 2007 02:56 AM (GMT)
Heh, you know what this is a bad example of the Milky Way... it should only have two arms
Anyway, Saitha I'm not quite getting what you're saying, sorry
Farseer Saitha - January 21, 2007 09:01 PM (GMT)
The milky way has several arms, we only see two from where we are.
The Banished Ranger - January 21, 2007 10:46 PM (GMT)
You sure? Whatever... Let's just say it's cool map ;)
Rhomdruil - April 19, 2007 02:00 PM (GMT)
The small shattered remains of the Rio-Tal Craft World is hidden on the Eastern Fringe, beyond Tau Space. The Fleet and its "Soul Hunters" are engaged in a small system containing an Eldar maiden world, the Imperials call Sanctuary, immediately East of Tau space in the Ultima Segmentum.

yeah that map is cool.
and as for commorragh it is described as a "realm" and/or city nothing more, where kabal's rule over territory. possibly in the webway but there is no definitive answer on this.
this could mean a planet, a craftworld or a place in the web. i personally believe it to be a planet.
chani the flame - October 8, 2007 06:03 AM (GMT)
good map,but there is one problem, earth is on the outer arm of the milky way, this has it near the middle
paul_fib - November 3, 2007 02:40 AM (GMT)
actually chani earth exists on the orian arm of the galaxy between the perseus arm and the sagitarius arm which does extend outwards into the void, but the part of the orian arm we are on is about half way to the edge maybe a litle further.
wow i just realised that map the lone ranger posted is actually kinda acurate although extreamly small in comparison to our galaxies actual size.
if you go outside at night at around aprox 7:oo pm aus est you can see the perseus arm of the milky way and out into the void.... that depends on if you live in australia, if you live in the northern hemisphere you can see more of the void and less of the galactic arm....
oh yeah and the kin of eldan no longe live on a craftworld, although they do have one, the eldan exist in the tau empire and surounding space, constantly exchanging infomation with the exodites.
the last known position of the craft world was in the segmentum solar....... now i know what your thinking, the impirium would have captured it or destroyed it, but the lesser craftworld of eldan (and i say lesser cause its actually 2 3rds of the size of uthwe) left the empire for the webway, were they significantly upgaded there holo fields to make them invisible in all ways. why the segmentum solar you say, well unfortunatly inter eldar relationships are becoming more taxed and strained, it was the safest place at the time. iv had thoughts of making it leave the milky way altogether to scout for the galaxy where the tyranids came form, but that would be kinda pontless.
damn it... i always feel i have to write so much of my eldars history, sorry
The Banished Ranger - November 11, 2007 05:42 AM (GMT)
Wow, all my old topics are being ressurected! I'm not complaining, I still regret that I can't show you guys the exact spot of my craft-world.
Farseer Eldas - November 26, 2007 09:15 AM (GMT)
why, dont you know were your own craft world is
