Title: Exarch And Autarch

Evening all.

Recently managed to take some pictures of some recent conversions. unfortunately they arn't painted, but give me a few months and they might be.....

Anyway, the first is my Scorpion exarch. upon lookign at the new rules, I realised that technically he has a scorpion chainsword is his other hand when he has a scorpion's claw, so the shuriken pistol just wouldn't do. I used the chainsword from my Autarch model and rearranged the fist of the exarch, and this is the result:

Next up is my Autarch. I like the generic model, but I didn't liekt eh weaponry, so I gave him arms from my dire avenger box. I liked the glaive/spear thingy, so he got that, but initially he also has a shuriken pistol. After a game or so I realised that this isn't all that great, so I decided to give him a fusion gun. After routing around with the gun, taking out a large part of its mody, I was able to attach it to the back of his wrist where the pistol was (I didn't want to change his pose). If you were unable to gleam any mental pictures from that, here are some real ones:

Nice. The gun on the Autarch does look a little big for his wrist, but who cares? It still looks great.

The spear looks really nice too, and you've once again outdone yourself on the posing. I think his pose is brilliant, even though you couldn't really move his metal body at all.

I agree with Cal, the gun does look a little big imho, but nice conversion all the same.
